  3. I do have the one with the blue lines on the staples. Some would say it's a bootleg.
  4. Before my wife and I adopted two boys, my comic budget was nice. I would bring between 7-10K to SDCC and pretty much have my 1 or 2 books pre ordered from Rick Whitelock, or Bob Storms. Since my boys are now 8 and 5 , and I can usually make only payments on even cheap stuff, but even though my budget is at my lowest level ever, I would'nt change a thing. Thank God my sellers are patient with my payment terms around here.
  5. Damn, in hindsight I should have been more involved with you guys, but life gets in the way.
  6. Yes Nerv I want to thank you for the awesome reporting of these books that deserves their rightful place in the genre.
  7. I do the same thing, and has been tough to see a nice looking book have some ads cut out. I look at it as it's the nature of the beast with Warrens, if an ad is cut out I just look for a new book with the ads. The one thing about Warren books that I found is there are a ton of VG to Fine books, but not a lot of NM books. There's also the stigma of the Warren warehouse books that are supposedly keeping books prices down, but those books were all VG to Fine books. So in my opinion true high grade examples are really not as easy to come by.
  8. Those early Eeries are tough with their dark covers, very nice.
  9. Its great to see that these gems are finally getting their following, just a great book.
  10. I completely agree. This book is probably the best book of the entire ASM run. It certainly is a key in my book.
  11. When you live in Southern California, everywhere you go there is something. How about my nephew who recently passed away this passed January, he was a character in Star Trek. His real name was Jon Paul Steuer.
  12. Bet I'll have something to say about that!
  13. just a beautiful copy.
