  1. Man, I love picking up a cool toy here and there, but that price to me seems insane.
  2. Well, I thought I heard everything around here. You are complaining that someone shipped your package TOO securely? Thank God for that seller! Who is he so I can buy stuff from him. I've got my select guys that I buy from, but if he's that good maybe there's room for one more on my list.
  3. Personally I'm happy both books are doing well. The truth is that Walking Dead #1 is THE modern age grail to have, just as TMNT#1 is THE copper age grail to have. WWBN 32 is a great book, it's right up there with ToD #10, MP 15, but you've gotta ask yourself. Is it THE bronze key to have? I can think of a few others higher on that tier.
  4. I hear they bow under pressure, dont know if that is true or not. Guess you could always put a piece of plywood in between each tier.
  5. Well after 645 posts I'm realizing this board is'nt as dead as I thought.
  6. My boys and I have a special day every sunday, and watch cartoons in our Batman PJ's(yes I have Batman PJ's) and eat Capt. Crunch. It's our Bro day.
  7. Don't get me wrong. I'm in speedcakes camp with owning both. If however I had to bet on a winner WD 1 would be it.
  8. Well then you have missed out on Sunday morning cartoons my friend. My wife and I adopted two boys, they are now 8 and 4. Let me tell you they know the TMNT's it's their favorites. Scoop y Doo is going strong too!
  9. When was the last great TMNT movie? That book is going for 30K in 9.8. Is it really that far fetched for WD #1 in 9.8 To be a 20K book in twenty years?
  10. Sizable impact? I guarantee that show is being talked about at every water cooler in the country. I know it is at my office. What's the print run of the #1 7500? Not hardly enough for fans of the comic and or the show to go around. I believe that it will be a holy grail for many people 20+ years from now, and prices will seem cheap at today's prices. I remember when my friend told me paying 500.00 for a mid grade AF 15 was nuts, that it wouldn't be worth that ever. He sure was wrong.
  11. I feel quite the opposite. I think WD is a huge cultural phenomenon that has changed the way T.V. produces shows. I am However a huge Moon Knight fan, but I think Walking Dead #1 Will rise to the heights of a TMNT #1 later down the line. Given the popularity, very low print run, demand of this book.
  12. Do you really want a custom title? Look at mine! I have to live with that shiet forever...... .
  13. Good times for sure. Nik was a great guy. I have a lot of respect for a man who speaks his mind, and Nik never disappointed.
  14. You know it my man. Hell I even miss Watson.
  15. There's quite a bit of the old guard on that list.
