  1. The OP should stop being a Shmoe and consider that the dealer can do whatever the hell he wants with his books, and shut the heck up. What crazy stupid thread.😏
  2. If you are going to crack the book out why bother with a book that is a graded 9.6 , but YOU feel it's a 9.2? Why not just buy a raw book. The dealer can ask for whatever he wants for the damn thing. If it's not to your liking, go somewhere else! Do you go to the grocery store and tell the cashier that you want to pay less for a gallon of milk because it has a dent in the carton? They would just laugh at you I'm sure.
  3. You know what I love about you Bob. You always give a straight and honest answer. You are as honest as the day is long.
  4. As sweet as sweet can be.πŸ₯°
  5. Are you saying that as existing customers as people who post here vs. new customers who are on Instagram? I'm sure there are plenty of people who post here could very well be new customers. I understand that CGC is inundated with submissions, but this is not a new thing, not a covid thing. This has been going on for years. They should have made adjustments a long time ago to provide better customer service, and quality of service. There's really no excuse.
  6. The best way is to just not use their service . I am NOT going to wait a year for my books. I am NOT going to pay more for a product that doesnt provide adequate quality. PERIOD! With that I will be expecting that this thread will be scrubbed as well. Have a great day everyone. πŸ˜‰
  7. Welcome to my nightmare, down the rabbit hole. πŸ€ͺ
  8. The square bound books are tough , they can get wrinkled with time, and cause staple issues.
  9. Hi Kosmo, welcome to the boards. I have been blessed to have been born in a time where these big keys were just comics that you could use and abuse. However I have been able to build an incredible collection over the 50 years I've been collecting. I always go for what I like, and not for the worth of any book. Dont get me wrong I love it when my books go up in value, but that is just a wonderful byproduct. Dont worry about the weekly hot comic it will cause you heartache. Buy what YOU want, not the shiny new book.
