  1. Before I adopted my two boys I was able to save about 8K or so a year for big keys that I wanted in my collection. I'm glad I did that back then, because with two boys there is almost no extra cash to go around. So yes my philosophy is definitely get the big books first. 👍
  2. Yes you have had some good luck. Your books are very nice indeed. Careful this whole Warren horror thing is addicting.
  3. I paid 800.00 in 2014 for a CGC 9.2 I dont know if that was too much or too little at the time. I saw it and it was a pretty copy, so I snagged it. I knew it would be tough to get as high a grade or higher later down the line.
  4. 200.00! Dollars? 😣 Is that what rags go for these days?
  5. Thank God for getting in on the ground floor.🎯
  6. Well at least you have reading material when you're busy with a.... you know.....
  7. Please take your time. I dont have any money right now.😫
  8. If it's as high grade as it says that would be a bargain.
  9. I take it this isn't what you were talking about.🤔
  10. You guys have a ton of great artists in this thread, but in my opinion. When you talk of the greatest of the great there is a much shorter list for me. Frazetta Sanjulian Joe Kubert Jack Kirby Bernie Wrightson These are the guys that move me with their art. With Frazetta there seems to be life on the canvas, movement,an air of sexiness. It flows as if it were moving as you look at it. THAT is a talent! Wrightson is so detailed, and the work is intense. You can look at his work over and over again and see something different every time. Just amazing. Kuberts art is like being with that scared soldier in the foxhole. His war work is truly a gift from God. Kirby- Nuff said Sanjulians abstract work on many horror art is truly amazing.
  11. I would put James O'Barr , and his Crow work in that category.
  12. 2500.00 for the Aurora display. They are actually several kits in a display. The display box is worth more than the models.
  13. The Mego toys in box are incredible on the commercial. 😬
  14. Collectors call isn't on yet in California, but I will check it out. I do have alot of Aurora model kits unsealed, and am aware of the one you are describing. I love that show.
  15. That's a for real toy? How f-ing awesome is that!
