Found this puppy this weekend. There were a number of foreign books, mainly Disney titles. This one caught my eye because the price was an outdated currency from my home country of Chile. The price box showed 4,00 escudos which were used for a 15 year period between 1960-1975. To my surprise it was actually published in Chile. I had no idea that they did that and distributed to other South American countries.

Of course, I should have gone to the source.

Here's one I've not run into in the past. This is a Filipino edition of Marvel Tales 63. I couldn't find it anywhere, so it may be pretty unique.

I have a story idea...how about the bringing back from the dead of Wally Wood, Jack Davis, Al Williamson, Johnny Craig, Harvey Kurtzman and Al Feldstein to create the art for these. I like the concept, I just can't wrap my head around the art, though. They had a real talent on making the art and background match the atmosphere of the story.

Golden Apple is on Melrose in LA now. I've been there a number of times but I don't know if it's the same owner or just inspired from the original one in Northridge.
