  1. The numbers do not lie as it pertains to the Silver foils, except there are a few facts being overlooked. First, most (not all) of the silvers foil Marvels had a max print of 1,000, making them rare in any grade. For instance, the Avengers 1 and the TOS 39 may have had print runs of approx 250 vs the 1,000 due to issues / Covid / etc. Second, while the quantities in grade are becoming a larger and larger percentage of the total print of 1,000, that was not the case in the earlier Marvel foils whereby much smaller numbers were printed, and much smaller percentages are graded. That and CGC does not track the First release designation which is the creme of the crop. In many cases, the FR graded copies, in any of the grades, are less than half of that population at grade. Finally, the good news about the foils is that once 30 days pass from the print date, no more FR grades are granted from CGC. And as most of these silver foils can only get a 10.0 or a 9.9 fresh from the factory, most of those CGC populations of 9.9 and 10.0 are now static and will not move up as it tends to do over time with most books. Devil in the details, and you have to see all the facts.
