  1. There is too much agreement in this thread. Where's Larry?
  2. I don't get a chance to go to many cons, so I wouldn't know. When Dre said it was unheard of, that raised an eyebrow for me. I'm not losing sleep over it but as a consumer, it would be nice to know.
  3. I agree with most of your post Andy. I do, however, feel in my gut and a little common sense that the announced print runs from image are skewed. For example, there have been 253 copies of Bedlam 1 NYCC listed and sold since OCT 30th on ebay. That isn't counting those board members have listed here or ones sitting at CGC being graded as we speak. Do I think the numbers are off in a gross amount? No, but it leaves room for question. Not only for that one book but the others as well.
  4. Bedlam CGC are getting no love at all on the bay
  5. Reminds me too much of the Phantom variant
  6. Maybe something happened to him. The books listed for sale in the original thread don't seem to be the type one would choose to rip people off with. Sorry to those that did not receive their books
  7. Because that wouldn't be a conflict of interest? Having the guys restoring or pressing the books also grading them? I get the impression that although it will be one company, the grading and resto will be like two different departments. If Classics has people that are qualified to grade, maybe thats part of the plan to decrease gradding/slabbing time I'm able to give anyone the benefit of the doubt, which I know can be difficult but do you guys really think all these individuals working for these companies are so shady, they would commit fraud? Even if that's the plan, it wouldn't last long as eventually someone will refuse to be involved in it and it will leak out.
  8. Anyone know if the employee's moving from Classics to CGC could possibly be qualified to be new graders for CGC?
  9. PGX is tarnished forever. Doesn't matter who owns it. Thats why I said to change names. Personally, I wouldn't be interested if I knew it had any ties to the old PGX
  10. Good deal. Paid and got book two days later!
  11. I'm inclined to assume Nick knows better.
  12. I don't see what the amount of variants has to do with it being a great book in the future or not. I wish there weren't so many but that doesn't deter me from reading.
  13. I have a feeling the Phantom pr is higher. There are more phantoms on the bay than any other variant or the standard issue.
  14. I am using this word in public today. Somehow.
