  1. I'm a huge King fan. Read all the books, including Bachman. I have to watch it So far though, I would agree its not great.
  2. I paid Anthony for a commission towards the end of last year. Then I started to see a lot of posts of people who have been waiting years and we agreed to cancel it so he could focus on getting older ones done. It took awhile of back and forth emails but he refunded the full amount about a month ago. I'm happy I got my money back.
  3. Seems a little odd to me as there were older versions of Nowhere Men in the works for years. Why wait all that time and then give up when the ball was rolling nicely? If it comes to a screeching halt now, might as well just scrap it. Its going to rub most people the wrong way and will be hard to revive the story "down the line".
  4. I had a Museum cover book I sent to PGX years ago because CGC doesn't grade them because of the overhang. For good reason too. Ruined my book as the pressure of slabbing it left indentations all around the book where the overhang was. If you want to destroy the book, send it to PGX. (thumbs u
  5. No. Last blue label 9.8 sold for 700 on ebay. The SS 9.8's have been steady though at 1200
  6. I had another great transaction with George. Always quick to pay (thumbs u
  7. I bet that slipped under a lot of radars
  8. I wasn't against Mystery boxes when it was brought up previously but a lot more are popping up and the prices are getting pretty high. More chance of butthurt
  9. I could see a case being made for raws but not graded books. The only way to access the ads is to crack the case.
  10. Look at the bottom. It has a numbered Notice. I would be surprised if that wasn't distributed the Post Offices or if the clerks are responsible to stay abreast of such notice releases. PSN 7610-07-000-4037 Notice 121, October 2012 That's over a year and a half old. I've shipped media a lot since then although none within the past 6 months. Nothing has changed that I have seen. This debate has been going on for years and for the most part, it's the buyer who requests media to save on shipping in my experience. In that case, he/she would be responsible if additional was due upon delivery. Otherwise, its the seller who should pay.
  11. I don't ship media mail anymore for comics because of how long it takes, but that rule is very loose and depends of which office you go to. I drop off at two locations and CGC books are accepted because the ads are not readable. Older comics are fine as well as the ads are expired. I've also heard people say if you insure a book via media mail, they will not honor the claim because of the "policy" and that is simply not true.
  12. The OSPG is useless. The best way to gauge pricing is looking at completed e-bay sales. You can't really go off of online dealer prices because you don't know if they are actually selling books for their listed prices or not. +1 I always look at ebay sold prices and undercut it when selling here.
  13. Called today and they shipped a few days ago. 12 of 13 hit 9.8
