  7. Exactly, people would pay $5 in gas and $20-30 for entry in to a con to wait in line to get a free autograph, but having to pay $5 for a sig and have someone else deal with the hassle is a turn off?

  13. I think I might be the opposite... I like that it's dark, unpredictable, and characters die. I thought _______ was safe. Still thought he was safe after reading #83, believing he'll survive. But you know, now I hope ______ doesn't survive.
  14. Just read #83...if #84 and #85 don't go they way I want them to, I may have to give up on this series. Too damn dark and depressing some times. Wow

  17. I have to agree here. I read it when my first son was 6 months old...I couldn't put it down...it struck a chord with me at that point in my life. Great read, especially for those of us who have sons.
  18. Man, after i finished The Passage i freaked the hell out because I read it soon after release and I knew I had to wait a long while for the next book. This series got me more excited than I have been about a book in years. (thumbs u Me too. My wife made me read it and I loved every page!
