Lucked out and got #1 and #2 for cover at a LCS that I don't visit often!

So I just read the image firsts Saga #1, and I wasn't captivated by the story. Does it take time to pick up?

I just called today and they said the were up to grading 9/18 invoices. My invoice was received 11/6, even though technically I submitted it to DWC at NYCC. I'll get my order in June

That is what I thought but the guy at the shop told me it was the other way around cause they received more of the white cover.

I think this month was filler. Probably reads so much better in a trade format. Which is the regular cover the White with Charlie's artwork or the one with them fighting?

It is possible considering the Darryl and Merle story in the TV show. Maybe they want to bring a similar dynamic to the comic.

I read the six page preview and was so pumped to read the rest of it today. What a disappointment. I thought it had the potential to be much more potent. Still interested to see where it goes.

I just read the book. I enjoyed it, even after reading the spoilers this morning. I couldn't hold out. The hype was a bit exaggerated. But that is what hype is supposed to be. Here are my thoughts:

Still pricey, but I'll start looking. I have a .5 graded ASM #1. It probably would be a 3.0 if it wasn't torn in the middle of the book almost the size of about 1/2 the book. It looks like someone's wife got mad and ripped it, but stopped midway through. The way CGC put it in the case it looks awesome. So I have a nice displayable ASM #1 for a low price. If only I could get so lucky on Hulk.

I'm looking to join the club at the 1.0 range. What is the current market?
