  1. I really enjoyed the episode. The hallucinations were outstanding and very creepy. I just felt his death was somewhat pointless. Anyone know if CC has some other commitments to TV or Movie that conflicted with his Walking Dead schedule?

One question I have is when Rick was on the walkie with Carol they mentioned they drove 500 miles. How is that even possible? That’s at least three tanks of gas each way.

  2. Krypton Comics in Staten Island. It's now closed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Owner was a great guy very honest and easy to talk to. I remember going every Saturday with my Dad. He would let me drive there even though I was nowhere near the age to get my license. Great memories.

  3. Ok... just caught up.

That episode feelt like an interlude to get them back on the road and moving again... very strange. It was a bit like they had taken bits from "The Best Defense" and "This Sorrowful Life" that were originally seen in Woodbury and revisited it.

Wonder if he will eventually try to atone and help them escape only to get bitten? Dunno, it's not the same but it has a familiar ring to it. Woodbury was slightly different in the TV series anyway so it feels a bit like a reappropriation. Which is fair enough looking at the pace at which the TV series is catching up the comics.

Wow, awesome insight and comparision. Thanks for posting this.

  4. Glad to read this thread and see all the postive comments about last night's episode. I thought it was fantastic and the penguin is the star of the show. Lots of interesting twists.

  5. Very good episode. I am glad Ward wasn't a triple agent. Wrapped everything up very nicely and set the stage for season 2. Thought some of the goofy conversation with Nick was perfect. Had me for a second when Garrett got himself in that chair. Really enjoyed how quickly his regeneration ended.

    Quality show!
