Ryan that was the most awesomest scene!!

Man I can't believe that episode. I watching the talking dead right now and it's very emotional.

    Thoughts

I didn't understand why Michonne just walks away from Rick and Carl. Why couldn't she just stay with them?

Would you stick around with Rick? Everywhere this dude is people drop like panties on prom night!

Michonne was fine and dandy by herself until she ran into Andrea, it's been down hill ever since....

  2. Where them negative Nancys at?!

    ::crickets::

This episode was beyond epic. I'm still jumping up and down in excitement. I want more!!

I did not like this episode. Too many reasons to list.

    A few....

    - Unlimited ammo.....they were shooting on full auto. If you've ever fired on full auto, you go through a 30 round clip in like 4 seconds. They were firing full ammo for minutes! lol

    - Everyone before is an expert shot to the head, but now no one can hit anyone (exception those being killed are the nobodies)

    - If Guv wanted to really just kill Rick and gang he could have easily sat with some of his guys in the woods and taken them out one at a time while they were gardening, etc.

    - He should have killed Michonne right away and just had Hershel out there.

    - It was too quick from getting his gang riled up to attack the prison then the next moment they are sitting right outside without anyone in the prison hearing the dang tank drive up.

    - How did the Guvs chick make it to the prison, how did she know where it was?

    - Daryl had a scope on his rifle and he couldnt have taken a shot at the Guv? Guv goes down and the rest of his peeps would scatter.

That's about it for now. Too bad Hershel was gone but I figured he was gonna be toast sooner than later.

Oh yea! File cabinets, cars, and buses all deflect bullets!! Wow!

I put in spoilers cuz I see others have.....though I dont understand why, if you know the show comes on tonight then don't click on this thread!

Don't forget, not only did the Governor's girlfriend find the prison, but she walked all the way there while carrying her dead daughter's body. That would have taken her a long time, because there is no way she physically could have walked that far carrying that much weight without having to stop every few minutes. Adrenaline would have only lasted so long, and the grief would have overtaken her.

As long as you can overlook the glaring holes in logic and other issues in the spoiler tags above, it was okay. Still seemed too rushed. All season dragged along, then they jam pack everything into less than 40 minutes.

Okay mid-season finale for a so far disappointing season.

Broken record time from Bjorn (!):

We're nitpicking at these details, but perfectly OK with suspending disbelief on the fact that DEAD HUMANS ARE COMING ALIVE AND KILLING PEOPLE?

Same lame excuse that's given each time.

If they want you to suspend disbelief then don't bring up how they're low on ammo or gas on the show. Even though all gas by now would be completely useless to use.

Oh yea, they should go find a new nicer maximum security prison, there's dozens out there. (thumbs u

"only 15 more issues until Rick kills Negan" I should write the WD.

Pretty much sums it up. I was talking to a friend about how many times Rick has been in a position to be killed by Negan and it never happens.

The entire issue was Negan giving that super villain speech like they do in every movie giving the hero time to get loose.

Negan says he cant kill Rick, he's going to break him so that the others in the compound will fall in line? Just shoot Rick and the others in the head and tell the rest in the compound that's what will happen to them if they keep being a problem. Done.

  5. Yeah then just drop it......Sell me your books and OA and then you can just move on.

    WDSet.jpg

Dont know what OA is but I wonder if I would have a problem selling my books.

    NICE!

Slab those immediately to maximize your sales.

I paid about $100 for all of those, and $90 of that was for one of the #1's. I grabbed the rest for a little less than cover price!

  6. I hear that in next month's episode the dude with the Tiger brings out his second-cousin (who happens to be a MIME). And the MIME knows secrets about Negan, but since he can't speak, it's an entire ISSUE with people communication through silent motions only.

    It'll be great in Digital.

I finally read the latest issue. :P

I hadn't really been reading the issues since the mid 90's, just skimming through so I'm kinda lost on what's happening. But the part where they come up to the guys on the horses and the way they talk about the "kingdom" etc is very cheesy. The entire Tigger theme is ridiculous and Tigger doesnt like violence and roars? Oh boy.

It also doesnt help that the newest character reminds me of him.

    George_Clinton.jpg

I really don't want to drop the series but something's gotta get better!

  7. It's too early to know a lot about Negan other than:

    1. He likes screwing with people

    2. He can do very violent acts to people

    3. He curses all the time

    4. Likes sex with many women

    5. Has a thing for Irons and guys faces

    6. He provides some kind of protection in exchange for half of each communities food, supplies, etc.

    7. He's about to be confronted by Rick, Jesus and a dude with a Tiger.

I need more info on this guy...where he came from...the back story to form more of an opinion.

You talking about Walking Dead or Crossed???

  8.

I don't want Merle in the group either, he's scum. That is what I meant by redemption, giving up himself and taking out the Gov to save his brother,

    :acclaim:

At least Merle gave it a shot. He tried to give Darryl the chance at the family he wanted, tried to take out the Gov, and tried to redeem himself knowing that it was a one way mission.

On talking dead, Michael Rooker said it was in no way a suicide mission. He expected to get out, but of course that didn't happen.

Next time try not to get hammered before hand, that might improve your chances! (tsk)

  9. I enjoyed the last two episodes. Lots of good tension, I think.

Of course, there are still some silly/stupid moments. Still, these last two have been pretty good. I like that the Gov is acting a bit more crazy now.

I like how the Guv knew just where to go to find Andrea. Why she didnt just run into the brush instead of going into a building with zombies is insane. It looked like the Guv was backed into a corner and surrounded when Andrea went up the stairs.

  10. Makes no sense to me why Milton would risk his life leaving the camp alone to torch 20 zombies.

Just like the end where Rick thinks he sees something in the tree line (when Andrea almost reaches the prison) and looks closer, sees nothing and the look on his face tells the viewer that Rick thinks he's still hallucinating and doesn't trust himself or what he thinks he sees.

I didnt like that Rick was exposed in the watchtower. He knows that Guv is out there wanting to kill him and he's standing out like a sore thumb.

  11. All the things that happen in the WD, I feel would really happen. If this really happened people will get god complexes and crown themselves "king" "governor" "god", etc. People would need to be lead, because in the real world there are leaders and there are followers. It's an apocalyptic world and there are dangers all over the place. It's only been what a year or 2? And they're still trying to figure out how the world is going to play out, with the walkers and people. The story makes sense to me, and I love it.

This is how I viewed it as well. After the world goes to hell...no working...no electricity, walking dead people....I can see how some would regress to ancient types of cultures and get Kings, Governors, etc. It does seem plausible that this could occur in a world that truly has gone to hell.

I'm not sure i'm loving it right now but it's keeping me interested.

I'd like a little realism also for a zombie book. They're near Washington DC correct? Where are all the law enforcement members(Secret Service/Capitol PD/DC PD/FBI/DEA/etc), not to mention the thousands of military personnel from all the bases in the area? Where's all the equipment? At least in the TV show they did have some military personnel show up if just for a few minutes. Maybe they all turned into zombies first by some innoculation that was made mandatory. If so, how come there havent been zombies dressed in uniforms? Ok, getting too into it, I'll stick with the kings, knights, and tigers. meh
