The reason why I don't have the back side is because the pic is from a now shady LCS I used to love going to. They have it listed at a 9.0 and priced as such. Figured that's what the grading was on it. Pathetic. This hobby is getting more sad everyday. Wanted to see what you'd all have to say.

Yeah I thought that at first too. But people here have shown me issues I never even heard of. The guy there did seem pretty excited about having it and he's been very fair with me. So why not.

I was really hoping for it to be a higher grade, I only got this for 100 cad. I got a offer of 500 so I think I'm just going to take it. At 9.0 or even 9.2 it isn't at that price for cgc. Love the book too but I can buy it back when I got the funds.

So annoying. I had a offer of 500 cad for it that I said no to.

Wondering if there's anything I can do to potentially raise the condition on this. It will be apart of my first cgc submission. All I'm really worried about is getting less than a 9.0.

Oh it was just dirt lol. It's off now. I don't see any ticks, and those marks on the spine are pressable aren't they?

Yeah I get that. It's just they always do it for big name comics or ones that are hot. One in particular they had listed at a 9 was nova 1. They wanted 300 cad for it. Looked at it in person and counted 16 spine ticks, 4 color breaking, all noticeable. Worse condition then most comics I've posted here that yall say are are 8.5-7.5. When I asked what the grading was based off of the guy said, "25 years of experience doing this. CGC would grade this at a 9.0." I can full heartedly say they would not. It's a shame. But haven't bought from there since. Crook, lunacy, or both.

If this is a 9, it makes me rethink every grade my LCS has claimed...
