  1. Hi comic grading universe, I have a small collection (20ish) of comics that I would like to have graded. This website quotes 55 day turn around time for "Fast track" of "modern" comics. After reading the posts on this forum that seems to be untrue. Is 55 days realistic or should the chart be updated with current lead times. I understand the current situation with the covid and stuff, just want a realistic commit on when I would get my comics graded. No problem waiting, just want to know how long I would be expected to wait.
  2. Yes, if you bought them as a kid like I did, it is absolutely worth getting these graded. Are they worth alot? Probably a couple hundred bucks, but that is not why I say "Yes". If you did acquire them as a child, then they mean something to you. You bought them, read them once and had the forethought to put them into a plastic sleeve where they lived for decades. So you put in your allowance and time and now now you are probably in your late 30s early 40s and wanting to know if your childhood memories have a monetary value. Or you just want to know if they are worth showing off (I am the latter and also on the fence about spending a nice chuck of change to have mine graded). So at worst you have something you can display in your man cave/house and at best you might nail that rare 9.9/10.0 and make a small fortune. Sounds worth the risk to have some childhood memories revisited. After all, isn't this why we are all here?
