Another recent pick-up. Gotta love a cover when a kid with a cane is being blown to bits. Ditko was a sick bast ard when he first started out.

There was an awesome booth at Chicago that had about 10 longboxes of war stuff at 60% off , most people went right past them to the marvel bins. Lots of cool stuff. Forgot the name of the dealer.

 

That's kind of shocking because at Wondercon the one magazine box of DC war I brought was easily the most popular box.

I just recently got turned on to the war covers. Pretty cool stuff, not sure what to collect but I saw a ton of cool war books in those books. Alot of SGT ROck and Fury plus a tone I never heard of.

You should make it like a walkin clean room. But you can only handle the books thru holes in a glass case with gloves.

Just got the grades from a 20 piece submission I sent in last month. These all came from the 3000 piece original owner collection I will have for sale at Chicago next week. Will receive this batch next week and will all be available for sale at the show. Pretty happy with the results:

 

Pre-graded all books at 9.8, a few misses but most were right on

All in all, 14 out of 20 in 9.8. Was REALLY hoping for the Bats 427 to hit the mark, but it fell just short . But, if this is any indication of the quality of the collection, some deals are to be had on the remaining books come next week!!

You can ask the manufacturer thats getting it done for you, or most boards have a stamp on them that say form free....

If you are storing your boxes in vertical boxes do any of you use that rechargeable silica in the boxes??
