  1. There's a lot going on with that back cover also. I see this at 8.0/8.5. I'm going by recent books I got graded too.
  2. It's really hard to tell what is going on along the right edge. Is that a page turning crease or a stain or what?
  3. Even with a press you cannot eliminate a color breaking crease. I would never be OK with a cbc getting a 9.6, IMHO...
  4. I would say 3.5 but then it just sounds like I'm copying everyone else! Man you guys are good!!
  5. I'm pretty sure that would go in my collection as a 7.0! Unless it appears different in hand it has a lot of positive qualities.
  6. We need a bit of a sharper picture but I am seeing 8.5. I don't see a spine roll unless it's VERY slight? Press could result in 9.0?
  7. It's got nice eye appeal but a lot of small defects so I would say 6.0 IMHO...
  8. I am at a definite 8.5! Nice copy. Yes, that is a printers crease and usually does nothing to the grade.
  9. Here's another. I think it was over graded by the seller and I want some of your expert opinions please!
  10. You are probably right at 2.5 and maybe a shot at 3.0. I would not bother to P&C.
  11. Nice book with a 3/4" back cover tear and this large page tear. What are your opinions that page tear does to the grade??
  12. I think it has enough positive qualities and eye appeal that I'm going 4.0. But I could see 3.5?
  13. Lot going on with that book. I thought 3.0 before I saw the other graders so I'm there as well! 3.0
  14. It's hard to tell if this may not be better in hand, but to me it looks 6.5. Maybe a shot at 7.0??
