What I started doing when drawing sketch cards is I took two thick backing boards and taped up the sides leaving one side open. So when I start to draw a sketch cover now I slide the back cover into the backing boards to protect it while I'm drawing only because CGC will mark the scuff marks that happen when drawing and moving the cover around to get better angles. You might want to pass that info on to any artists you commission to do covers.
