  1. Thanks Mike, these were submitted before the price hike. So don’t know why they are still in queue for so long…god forbid lost
  2. Hey everyone, I have a submission where my local presser (Canada Comic Pressing) submitted on my behalf....it was supposedly graded on May 8th after he spoke to customer service, but it hasn't been shipped back and now it's June.. his portal only shows when the books were received at CGC.....should I be worried?? Some of them were posted on PGM as well.......so I have the scans... Hawkman 4, Conan 1, Tomb of Dracula 1, FF67 were all submitted as Economy Fast Track Marvel Spotlight, House of Secrets 92 was submitted under Standard My buddy also had a submission recently where 2/18 books of the submission was lost and was only returned with the CGC labels. so I am worried...those were (Marvel Spotlight 5, Rocket to the Moon #nn)...How does one misplace books once they arrive at CGC......i'm speechless @CGC Mike Can you help us out? Or are things really backed up, looking at some other submissions above, it seems that they are moving....
  3. Don't worry we talked about it we are aware CovrPrice is a let's say 15-20% inflated
  4. So COVRPrice takes the FMV of the book raw, which could very well be off (based on last solds), to me I put in the database Batman 423 a 9.6, and the system gave it the $1,400..... which I don't completely agree with, but again its a ball park
  5. I got a few buckeroonis out of it, and sharpened my grading skills, also saw books I had never seen or heard of before so it was definitely beneficial!
  6. Just an update on this...it took me 5 months of work from Nov. 2022 to Mar 2023 working weekends. We separated all the good stuff versus drek. We are going to get all the good stuff graded down the line, but I will also be helping to get rid of whatever is left.....Collection was 10% silver age, 25% Bronze Age 65% modern. In COVPRICE, the total is around $80,000 USD, but hey, its just a ball park...... I also took a 1 time project fee, in instalments for when I completed cataloguing 33/66/100% of the collection.
  7. Super Rare Blip #1 CPV. Wouldn't normally pick up something with so many ticks, but I believe there are only 14 on the census.
  8. Thinking of getting this graded, super hard to see, but it has around 2 spine ticks- as its a white cover, most likely not going to be able to press them out.... Also back cover bottom right is just glare and not whitening.
  9. Looks like this book is heating up for some reason...and I should get it graded Thoughts?
  10. Not sure if links are allowed: http://canadacomicpressing.com I have gotten some amazing results from him over the few years.
  11. Yeah I have a guy that I go to who is super well known in Ontario, Canada. I send all my books to him.
  12. Just got a preliminary look on this one! Cracked case :S
  13. I have a few other IM #1s they are production defects. Color breaks on the bottom cover are unfortunate though
  14. Looks clean, has a few spine ticks that are not color breaking maybe 1 is.....
  15. Don't know if there is color touch on this one...or if it is dirt on the right side cover
  16. This is a Mechanical Error, when they crumpled one of my books the same way when encapsulating...this should be sent back in to CGC for fix
  17. 9.0 for me, need better pics of the spine!
