  9. Kirkman said today that 54 and 55 are both coming out this month and 56 next month for a total of 11 issues this year. Then one issue a month in 09. Of course he's made claims like this before and not lived up to them so I'd take this one for what it's worth, not much. I got the newsletter as well Brian, and he seemed pretty darn confident that he would be able to stick to the "On Time in 2009" with all his books across the board, So, who knows, but it sounds like several steps in the right direction! It just feels like "the boy who cried wolf" at this point, or the alcoholic that says "never again" only to do it again. I guess my question about his guarantee would be "or what?". The next one is on me? Or, I'll put out two next month? Or maybe, I'll fall on this sword? Anyway, I'll believe it when I see it. I also hope that I'm wrong, I'd love to see 15 issues in the next 14 months! he's been doing a pretty damn good job on WD and invincible for the past few months (as far as scheduling)...adding that editor to the team will surely help too
  10. Digital Webbing issue (I think #5) Sodomy Baby Avatar Illustrated (cover rendition) Best Cellars #1 (Goon prototype "Monster Boy") DHP #157 (which is not the 1st app.) Avatar #1 is true 1st app. Illustrated is cover only and BC is a prototype. (thumbs u thanks!

  17. Thanks for joining the rest of us. (Guess this means you won't be buying my raw Goon back issues... ) still unsure about your run just read trade paperbacks 0-4 and then the single issues... and no, i haven't read chinatown
  18. just re-read the whole run (avatar, albatross and dark horse) and WOW!! Great book It has climbed up my fav moderns list to number 3 (behind Invincible and RASL)..that's right..ABOVE walking dead seriously, though...awesome book..just wondering how many cats out there read this sweet book...also, curious to know if there are any other Goon-like gems out there i might not have heard of before...Goon is so unlike any other book i read, so it makes me wonder what else might be out there GOON RULES!!
  19. kudos to skypinkblu for the awesome gerber photojournals and the nice freebies THANK YOU!
  20. well, i might be wrong.. a raw 9.6 #1 LE sold for $51 today on feebay....highest price i've ever seen one go for raw was $22 before today
  21. its already showing signs of cooling off recently (ebay sale of #1, 2 and 50 all CGC 9.8 for $554).. depending on movie news and such..it will bring the speculators back.. i think the value of the book is going down for now bc theres not as much 'hype'...we had issue #50 and 51 sell out while that MTV animated was going on at MTV.com and at the apple store ALL as Kirkman was named a new partner at Image....all of these reasons made the record sales occur.. if a movie announcement or something went down, it might hit high $500s or low $600s again, but quite a few more copies have been showing up lately.... with all of that being said..you should all sell me your copies now
  22. evan, you will ALWAYS get the express two week shipping time when you and i strike a deal
