  5. so i tried to narrow it down and looked up all names starting with "MC" on my slabbed comics and compared to each one so that rules that out. i think like you said its first name"M" last name something. And i agree not a A list artist but i do want to know who did just so i dont have a random art lol. Aslo checked local cons in dallas and houston on wikipedia to see the guest and no big leads there. the person did have promos from other states so thats my next step
  6. it is odd, if the last known multi pack was in 12/96 then this would fit in that time line supporting the multipack origin a bit but then if this was a multi pack it would eve had the dc universe logo right? is there any other superman logo books in multi packs? where all the variants in 96' dc universe or was it mixed in with other symbols like the early bat logo.

  9. ill have to look into the contents in all the packs that was released but thats a great lead. dont know where to find that info but it gives me a great start. think this is very plausible. makes the most sense. things a ghost online.
  10. not convinced either he has that long squigle at the end of all his autos. at this point i dont know what to do. the collection had some nice autos stan lee, scott campbell stood out to me, and some fire books, clone wars 1, heir to empire 1, kotor. at this point think ima just have an unkown thick butt frank artwork in my pc
  11. i see what you mean, maybe i can reach out to mike M see if he will reply. my closest guess is michael golden he worked on nam and his M has that little sharp start on the left. what do you think??
  12. the upc on the one you attached is direct. the one i have has a superman logo which i cant find any where
  13. think dvds released 1996 and this book dropped 96, could be thats good lead. yeah those small variants be making a different just started checking my books after i found my carmen sandiego has the dc universe logo. but im stumped on this superman one. cannot find a shingle one like it
  14. no, that gcg one has the direct upc this one has a super man logo i looked at every book and none have the superman logo in the upc area
  15. looks similar but i just looked at all the mignola autos and none have that scribble on the bottom and none of his "M" are sharp they are all very round. and other lead?

Cannot find any info on this book. heres my research so far, however inside the book it says same date nov 1996 CGC Census - has three variants 1) regular not sure if thats only direct , 2) preview copy 3) trade comicrealm, mycomicshop, key collector does not help they only show direct edition. Does anyone know why does one has a logo in upd area? if so where did it come from.
