  1. The edition size of the above Princess Leia: Last Daughter of Alderaan lithograph was a very small 250. What with the rest of Hughes' Wonder Woman and Catwoman covers being printed up in large quantities as posters and prints, one day we may see the one above reprinted in a larger edition size. (I wonder how the reprinting of all the Hughes' Wonder Woman and Catwoman covers in over-sized print formats will affect the prices of the original comics.) Anyway, I picked up three sets of these for $5.00 per set off ebay from thecomicmonster. He has one more set up for auction, now. SNAIL-MAIL-ZATANNA-PRINT-SET-ADAM-HUGHES
  2. Yes, they ran off a cliff with them. This latest Blue Beetle reboot looks nice, though. This character has quite a convoluted history/back-story. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Beetle

  6. Many THXS to sd2416 for 85 very flippable comics @ $1.05 each (avg.) w/shipping. BTW, of the entire run, these two are the best sellers. Beatles and Cho/Norman Rockwell. Cross-over hits, don'tcha know. Or am I shilling? Wait, which is worse: posting common books or HTF/scarce books? After all, aren't all books posted for sale? At some price? Just asking. I mean, a person posts a scan and I often see, "If you want to sell it . . . " (I'm stewing up/formulating/composing a rant in response to . . . Certain Jerks
  7. The Atomic Comics Sticker??? Yeah I noticed that as well. (thumbs u

  9. The fact that there is no reflection of Archie in the mirror in front of him clearly denotes that he is, in fact, a vampire. I have no idea. Archie is left-handed? Not right-handed, as indicated by the *spoon* in his right hand? No. Wait. I've got it! That's a bowl. Not a dish.
  10. . . . accurately graded . . . Hopefully, the first of many more such transactions. Thanks.
  11. Pussycat reprinted in Male, May, 1968. From the auction description: FOUR PAGE CARTOON COMIC OF "PUSSYCAT" THE SIZZLIN' SAGA OF A SECRET AGENT SWINGER CARTOONIST NOT GIVEN CREDIT, BUT SURE LOOKS LIKE ART OF BILL WARD
  12. Here's another ebay auction. Winning bid: $51.57 + $4.50 shipping Jim Mooney "Pussycat" comic proofs/tear sheet lot 120+ This is a lot of 120 or so Jim Mooney comic proofs or tear sheets, all featuring "Pussycat." The comics are a little suggestive. Each page has been carefully placed in acetate sleeves. Each sleeve (there are 40) has comic sheets on each side; and in some case, more than one page on each side. There is the occasional ad in with this set which dates all of the pages from the mid-1970s. The pages are in excellent condition and have not been handled. The edges are straight - they were not torn out of a book.
  13. I'll go ahead and post this before it disappears. It's the link to the ebay auction from above. Jim Mooney 1970's PUSSYCAT Original Comic Art 4 PAGE COMPLETE STORY This artwork was created by Jim Mooney in the early 1970's. The pasted on "PUSSYCAT" title has some tearing. Otherwise, all the pages are in overall excellent condition with no rips or tears. This is a complete, four-page story. Winning bid: $1,691.99 + shipping
  14. Re: 54 LOVE/ROMACE - 36 GA (ST. JOHN, ODDBALL MISC) 28 SA (ATLAS) llll I had to delete and re-post the comics because I tried to cram them all, (front and back covers scans), into two posts and they weren't displaying properly. (Plus the people still on dial-up would have to wait too long for them to load.)
  15. Thanks. After doing some research, I realized I should post, the Teen-age Romance #77 after the My Own Romance run because it is a continuation of that run. (shill alert: these are going up for sale, tonight, in the Forum Only selling thread.) Alex Toth, Russ Heath and Bill Everett illustrated stories in some of these. Even Matt Baker shows up. Have you ever heard of Anne Brewster? She drew a few, too.
