  1. I picked up the PS4 last week and I've been playing Resogun and Killzone (I stink at it).

I received the Xbox One yesterday and I've been playing Forza and just checked out Dead Rising. It's going back in the box today though since it's the "boys" Christmas gift this year - me and my two sons. They are out of town so I was able to hook it up, do initial setup and make sure all is well so there will be happiness on Christmas and not complaining about a broken system. I've had really good luck with the verbal commands and am impressed by the product. I'm looking forward to the future on both.

If anyone wants, feel free to send me a friend request on PSN or Xbox live, conveniently my gamertag is also Deucedriver.

    Enjoy!

  2. I received a nice surprise in the latest submission. I know I bought this comic book about 20 years ago, I was still stationed outside of Phoenix. I didn't have much money to spend on comics at the time so I know this comic couldn't have been more than about $20. Anyway, another Cosmic Aeroplane book has been identified.

  3. I'll chime in with my copy. My wife bought this for my birthday the first year we were married (1992, Arizona) - off to a great start!

It's too bad about the dust shadow on this copy, the rest of the book equals some of the nicest page quality I've seen on GA books.

I can honestly say I've never even seen this book. I thought I'd seen most after spending countless hours on comics.org and on here etc. so thanks for posting it.

The September 1941 cover date combined with the subject of the cover is very interesting. I know there are a few covers from that era that were ahead of their time for the U.S. entry into the war. There is a National Comic that is often shown with the same trait, but honestly, I had not seen this one either.

When I opened the package I was taken back by how pristine this book was. It went from being a spur of the moment purchase to one the favorite comics in my collection.

  5. Here are few more.

America's Best 13 Mile High - the first Mile High I purchased way back in 1992. I scanned it with the Pacific Comic Exchange bag on for old times!

Bill Barnes I picked up through Heritage. I was amazed when I opened the package, I had forgotten how beautiful the high grade Mile High's can be.

And I haven't been able to bring myself to part with this Crippen copy of Modern 98. I'm a sucker for those black cover books that have kept their grade over all these years.

  6. This is an unusual cover.

It pictures prisoners escaping from an internment camp in the U.S during WWII.

The story identifies the camp as being near El Paso, Texas.

Great cover. That's one that slipped my attention over the years. So what kind of politically incorrect story is it? How things have changed.

I'll have to keep an eye out for that issue.
