  1. Basically because of the first appearance of Doctor Aphra. For this, I guess because it was the last printed series of this issue. Seeing that the 2nd print had 34.000 copies, the 3rd ~7.000, I'd say it has also the lowest print run, so it makes it "rare".
  2. Yeah, really good book! I have the first print but I really wanted to get this one too. Even if it's not a 9.8
  3. Hey Everyone! There are a few spine ticks, but since it's mostly a white cover they can't really break the color. I wonder if a pressing would solve the problem? Otherwise (in my opinion) the book looks good. Thanks in advance!
  4. Hey Everyone! So I finally got this book, but not sure if it's worth to send it to grading. It has some flaws, and I'm curious about your opinion on them. Thanks in advance, have a nice day!
  5. Hello there! I finally found this book in a really nice condition. It lays flat, nice glossy cover, no color rub, but there are a few tiny ticks on the spine. (It was probably me, when I was taking it out of the bag. I was a little bit clumsy, shame on me.) They look bigger on the photos - for my eyes at least - than they actually are. Also, I think that maybe a pressing could be helpful because of the upper left corner. I would really appreciate your opinion about it's grade. Thanks in advance!
  6. Yeah, when I bought it I didn't notice that Thank you anyway!
  7. Hello there! Looking for some opinions about this. I tried to show every flaws. Thanks in advance!
  8. Hello again! Tiny spine ticks, a crease on the bottom and some minor flaws. Thanks for any opinions!
  9. Hello! Lays flat, glossy surface, sharp corners, but there's a light, small fingerprint mark on the right edge of the front cover, and a small color rub on the rear cover. I don't see other defects. I wonder what score could it get. Thank you in advance!
  10. Hello there! I have this nice copy, but it has some minor (or not so minor) flaws, tried to show everything on the pictures. Lays flat, sharp corners, nice glossy surface, no fingerprints. It has a tiny but long line close to the edge at the right top/middle area, which I just realized it's not part of the cover... Also, there's a small spine tick on the front, and a few tiny on the rear. What could be the highest possible score on this? Thank you, if you spare a moment for this!
  11. Hello there! My name is Szabolcs - Hungarian name -, a graphic designer for years, and just getting into 3D modelling. I'm an absolute newbie to comics. I started collecting a few months ago, and right now I'm only searching for Star Wars books, because that's what I'm interested in. I was always curious about comics, always liked to collect things, but as a kid I couldn't afford much, so I guess I'm compensating it now. (Who knows, maybe my next hobby will be buying super expensive lego kits, or wh40k figures...) I already made some bad purchases (and some really great ones too), so I'm on the way of learning. My avatar sums me up pretty much, but generally I consider myself as a cheerful person. My first post went in a wrong topic, so I hope I'm at the right place now Have a nice day everyone!
  12. Yes, in the meantime I realized I posted in the wrong category. Thank you very much for the help!
  13. Hello there! I've never sent anything for grading, but I planned it in the near future. I just got a kenobi 1:25 variant, it's brand new, but the rear cover has this color defect (also the top left corner is bended / creased a bit, whatever). Everything else looks perfect to me. Is it worth to send it for grading, or will these defects drop it way below 9.6? Thank you!
