I picked this raw copy up last week. I have a 9.2 slabbed that looks awfully close to this one. Not sure if this will come in near that, but wanted to get some opinions.

Wanted to get some opinions on this. I picked up this raw copy last week. I have a graded 9.0 but I think this one is much better. On my 9.0, the grader notes state (Bend left center of front cover, Bend right center of back cover, Spine stress lines). This raw copy has none of those issues and only a couple teeny tiny imperfections I could see which I’ve pointed out in the photos. I had to zoom in on the photos to make them visible, so the pics make them look much worse 😆. Yes, the tattooz are present. Is there any chance for a 9.8 or am I just fantasizing lol.

Just got this in a collection I picked up. A lot of big books, but this is the only book I’ll keep.

I have an extremely similar condition book graded at a 3.5. Being that this book is older than the one I have, I don’t think they will hammer it much harder. So I’d say 3.5 is what you’re looking at.

I had an idea on grade, but the stain on the lower left interior cover looks like it runs through the book so I’m waffling between grades now. Not sure if it’s water or just the way I’m seeing it.

Thanks for the info. I picked it up for $75, had another interior page missing that the seller didn’t catch. Gonna flip it and use the money for another book I’ve been eyeing.

Please give me your thoughts on grade. It’s hammered on the cover and a few inside pages are torn.
