Hello. I have some concerns about a batch of comics that were sent in for grading through my local comic book shop. My comics were sent in with another customer and the shop owner's as a bulk order and I would estimate it has now been over 18 months. I did receive three comics back graded a few months ago, but still have 5 issues not yet received which happen to be the highest valued issues in my collection. I trust the owner based on our long relationship and I understand that the pandemic and resources have had an impact on CGC. However, 18 months seems very excessive and the shop owner has stated no feedback has been offered to him from CGC.
Can you confirm this is not unusual for your other customers or help provide some guidance on how these issues can be tracked down for current status? I do not have any order details since I did not submit directly to CGC, but would be happy to help in the communication with the shop owner for any information required to track down the order.
