Hi, I've noticed when looking up Certifications, that many times CGC Rolls Rare Variants into the same category as higher print of the same book... Example: Lady Death Gallery " "Gold Edition", LTD 535 copies, actually has about 20% of that number Printed as what is considered a "corner box" variant...which is far more rare, and has character with red cape in the corner, as opposed to a gold cape seen on the higher printed copies..
Moreover, there are even more rare "corner box" issues ( still red cape), but instead of being numbered, there are initials BP, which was the Brian Pullido's person copy ( only 3-10 printed). Attached, are the examples of previous mentioned. I do know that the "BP" issue is listed by itself in the registry, which is in fact super rare...However, I believe that not recognizing the difference between the corner box ( red cape), and regular "gold edition", causes confusion in the worth/rarity. Which in turn leads to faulty price charting on various sites, because they rely on sales of CGC data. Is there a way to get CGC to recognize the differences in their Registry?
