anything missing will be listed as incomplete, depending on how small a piece is, it might not drop down to a .5. The other option is go green label of course. I had a book missing a small coupon like 1x3 off the last non story page and it was still listed as incomplete. Book was nice otherwise I think it may have been a 2.0 or 1.5/1.8.

What if the cover is detached but it still has the staples? Does that count as incomplete as well?

  2. I've never sent in any of my comics to get graded before, but I plan on doing it soon. I've heard various prices on how much it'll cost and even the site itself isn't super easy to understand honestly XD This question goes out to the pros/people who're up to date on the prices/costs. How much would it cost to make my account and send in my first batch to get graded? Btw on a side note a guy who's gotten comics graded before said something about a line of credit? But I think that's just cause he made his CGC account WAY back in the day lol I don't think they do that anymore, that's one of the reasons I'd like someone who's up to date on the workings of the site. Thanks for the help!

Okay so based on this picture they've clearly fought before in some older comic. But this doesn't include the comic title/number so Idk where to find it. And just to clarify, the colossus one looks cool but I was referring to the regular juggernaut, though the colossus version definitely looks cooler. Thanks for the help so far guys :)

Are you for real?  hm  Here are some of the awe-inspiring new topics you've started during the past two weeks:

    • Where to buy the weird boxes to ship comics for grading?
    • What makes a gold/silver/etc age comic?
    • White pages vs grade points
    • Why are 9.7s so uncommon?
    • Does the release region effect a comics value?
    • How much does it ACTUALLY cost to grade a book?  (Poor @CGC Mike tried 4x to help you here )
    • How to clean a slab (Yeah, you got me 3x on this one)
    • What's the best place to sell your graded comics?
    • Why does the "White Pages" stamp appear ......?
    • Are there different types of slabs?
    • Who can I trust / go to for cleaning and pressing my comic?

If you are truly interested in learning, slow down.  Maybe do a bit of search-engine research.  Even better, spend some digital-free quality time with family and/or friends.  Perhaps you've never heard this sage advice: "If your mouth is open, you're not learning" (Gautama Buddha).  Learn it.  Know it.  Live it.  :preach:

    One man's opinion.  :foryou:  :hi:

I'm sorry I didn't realize there were rules on how "awe-inspiring" my questions had to be lolz I think I'll ask whatever I want. If you don't like my questions or don't wanna answer them, feel free to ignore them. I also do plenty of googling, just because I ask a question on here doesn't mean I haven't googled the question already. But as I'm sure you know, google doesn't always have the answer you're looking for.

Before you go too far down this road for cards, consider checking the CGC website to see if the cards you are interested in getting graded are even on the list of approved CGC card sets, or what signing services (if any) there are for CGC graded cards.

At this time, they only grade cards from Trading Card Games, though that may change at some point

    good luck

For a comic, I'm sure it is possible (there may even already be some on ebay or other sites).  I suggest reading the CGC website to figure out what CGC SS is, and then poke around the "Signature Room" subforum, especially the 'noob' thread stickied at the top of the page.  Then ask your questions there (in that subforum) if you still have them.

Does cgc have a eBay account where they sell stuff? Like their own official account lol

Very generally, if you see a foreign version on that has sold, you can very easily run a check on the selling prices of the US versions, to see if there are any differences (make sure to consider condition).

The answer, as with most comic questions, is that it depends: condition, the specific issue, context, is it a key, the rarity, the age, luck, the selling venue, can all impact which issue is worth more (US or foreign) and by how much.

If you want a more specific answer, you need to ask a more specific question.

Well if they're both the exact same quality but one is released in the us and one UK, does it matter? I'd also like to know where's the go to site for checking how much these comics are selling for, cause idk where to go

Correct, the custom label is just to look cool.

Pressing may help the grade, but what Mike shared is the cost for grading the book you shared.

The value of that book may not warrant the costs of grading. But if it's important to you, you are looking at $50 plus the cost of the membership.

But does custom labels effect the value in any way? Btw in regards to the return value, it's for myself, I know this comic isn't worth much XD
