Is anybody aware of the bottom green banner of asm 1 , "chameleon strikes", as occasionally having color loss like this 7.5? I have seen this exact type of color loss on another copy of asm 1 but I wonder if this was a printing defect at the onset of production or some other issue. I also wonder how much of a hit a raw copy will take with this type of defect during submission.

Figure I would share the two sticking points to get 50 to 100. I knocked out 78 as well so now I think I might be able to complete 50 to 328 in 9.2 or better. Maybe another 5 years

Hakes recent auction had some nice ASM books that were identified as from the collection of John B. Goodrich. I did not see any details about this collection on Hakes website so I was wondering if anybody had some insight about this collection or Mr. Goodrich himself.

Light staining, soiling from cup ring

Hi Folks
Just wondering if a press/ cleaning could remove a light cup ring. I recently found a silver age issue with what appears to be a light staining but it does not appear to have completely soiled the book. Anybody have experience with this being an option during cleaning?
