  1. 92 comics all together! Take them all for $135 shipped! (That's for US. Higher for International.)
  2. One copy of each series: Frontline Combat #15 Impact #2 Two-Fisted Tales #9 Valor #5 Weird Science #20
  3. Weird Fantasy #7, 10-12, 15, 17, 20, 21 (2 copies of 12) SOLD!
  4. Vault of Horror # 1, 4, 8, 9, 11-16, 24, 25, 28, 29 (2 copies of 12) SOLD!
  5. These are the terrific EC reprints put out by Gladstone in the 90s, which were exact replicas of the originals (except for the ads). Great art; great stories; great covers. All are in VF/NM condition. They look to have never been read. Each issue is $2 each. If you buy more than 10, they drop down to $1.50 each. Shipping cost is $5 for 1-3 comics; $8 for 4-12 comics; and $15 for 13 or more, or you can pick them up from me or stop by a con I'm setting up at (if you're in the area). I will ship internationally, and that is exact shipping. Paypal for payment. Returns are accepted. Questions? Send a PM.
  6. Nah. I attend (set up) at 30 shows a year, so there's really nothing that I can't get from MyComicShop that I couldn't find at one of them.
  7. Oh, it's completely my fault (I meant to PM, and forgot). But thanks for the video. It did cheer me up.
  8. Attempted fraud is still a crime. Even if he eventually doesn't get away with it, it's still against the law. As the always correct Wikipedia says: "The crime of attempt has two elements, intent and some conduct toward completion of the crime."
  9. I bought regularly from them in the 80s with their 35- and 50-cent ads. I was able to accumulate a lot of cool comics, and nearly all were newsstand mint. The last I bought from them may have been in the mid-00s, when I could go and order a ton of low-to-mid-grade romance comics for a song. Now that I am setting up at shows, however, I rarely buy anything online (except for here and eBay), and only rarely check his site. I most often look over there to see how he has priced some of the newsstand copies (or even if he has them in his database at all) when I'm doing my own pricing. It's fun to charge 95% less than what a major online retailer is asking. I don't mind Chuck personally -- I've met him twice, and he was very nice -- and he is straight-forward in how he runs Mile High. He's not losing sleep if we all think his business model is insane. He's still making money.
  10. There are so many factors involved. How likely are the 6 lower-priced comics to sell as the expensive one? I mean, a ASM #129 for $1.8k will sell a lot faster than a high-grade, non-key GA book for $1.8k. How much did you pay for each? Usually (though not always) the more in-demand a comic, the higher the cost. I may pay 80% or more of a comic's value if I know it's hot or will sell quickly vs one in less demand. But if I pay $1500 for that $1800 comic, I'm likely to make a lot less in profit than buying what I would have paid for those other 6. What does your business focus on? I don't sell much modern or GA, so an ASM #129 would sell a lot quicker from me than a hot variant modern or a GA book. Do you have a copy in a different grade already that hasn't sold? If you have an ASM #129 in 6.0 that's been sitting around for 2 months, do you want another that's twice as expensive?
  11. I had heard that the date was on their site... only to be removed. (This was the rumblings at a NJ show.) They're down to only 6 shows listed on their site -- Bay Area, New Orleans, Portland, Cleveland, Chicago, and St. Louis.
