  1. I tried for a year to become a cgc witness under the old program. I got 3 rejection letters and was denied In 2010, the new program started and I was the first prototype CAW. I assisted rich henn, nycomics and whoever else was at that Carbo show. 4 years later and im still here, cannot ask for a better place to be Lots of hard work, standing in line and running around but its definitely worth it; I dont CAW for facilitators but work directly at the CGC booth at shows
  2. Hello! There are different ways to get a sketch cover collection going imo 1. You can participate in the many sketch opportunities offered here on the boards 2. Conventions are great as well, but I suggest you contact said artist first to set things up 3. EBay is another option as well Hope this helps. Good luck!

  11. Hi! There's no need to "call me out", I'm right here. I really try my best to stay away from the flame wars, etc I have met people on these boards and most are great people. However there are some that bark really really loud, so much so you get a perception of them that's misleading(no specific person, just a general observation) Imodium your book was accidentally sent out to another boardie. This is my fault, I apologized to you for this. I was waiting until the boardie sent me the book so I could resend to you. I recieved it this week, book was(and is) going out today. My apologies to you for the slowness, I really have done the best I can re your purchase. As I said privately if theres anything I can do to make it up to you in the future please let me know. Confirm # coming later this evening, thanks!
  12. $375 just for the sketch + $5 blank + $30-40 CGC'd he just started this rate recently. His prices in February were $130 for marker and $200 for acrylic, even with 2 characters I might've considered it at that price point. As they are now, I'll just admire everyone elses books. I hear you. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the new rates either, so I got in right before the storm
