  1. I think that was what I was trying to say, great post (thumbs u
  2. The Detroit comiccon seems to be the worst selling one, by far. Which is strange as I believe its either the 2nd rarest or tied with the RRP [not sure on this print total]
  3. I don't buy the variants but they hurt the regular cover ebay sales. They don't care about the secondary market, they are trying to gain readership. Isnt the secondary market a driving force in many of the books that develop readership bumps? To totally shut out and "not care" about a sure fire way to increase direct sales would be very naive. In other words, they absolutely care about the secondary market no matter what they say publicly. Its most definitely not their primary objective but if they are good business people they for sure want that part of the industry buzzing. I believe its a fine line in trying to gain readership in the begging and still having some down the line. I believe many creators today are trying to start something off so its a grab as much as I can right off the bat type of a deal but I think that hurts sales later down the road where the 2nd hand market makes its biggest push. Then again, who knows, maybe I am wrong and creators have zero business sense and only attack one avenue. Ive been wrong before
  4. Good crew working on the book, talk of no variants and then variants come out, speculation, fun, interesting concept and because Im in here
  5. An East of West RRP..hmmmmm Ugh! Killing me
  6. Same here. Oh well, mail orders will be in next week.
  7. You are missing out. Blackacre has been very enjoyable so far, 5 weapons is a fun read and Sex was so-so but IMO worth a few issue read I never read Spider-man and we will see on PP
  8. Ugh. I have like 15 TBs and none of them are even close to 9.8s :-(
  9. Has a delay been announced? I cant seem to find anything other then 5/3 release for #6
  10. +1 Top notch! This book is without a doubt getting better and better. I think we will look back at the end of the year and see Bedlam in the running for title of the year
  11. Im with this guy but x10 his x5 !
  12. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/03/05/eccc-nate-bellegarde-and-nowhere-girls/
  13. Just read there will be a one month break between issue 5 and 6. Sorry if its been discussed....Im a bit bummed
  14. Per e.s. in the Nwm thread, its an older/different concept that was totally revamped. The current version of the book was first previewed in the SDCC 2010 yearbook. I dont believe that is correct. The SDCC is just a splash page isnt it? I believe the first preview was Walking Dead 99, 2nd preview Harvest 4 and 3rd preview PP#7
  15. Glad I got mine at the $1.75 price each. Dang. That would have been nice
  16. That explains it....No one wants to go to Clevland. I resent that
  17. Really?! You guys are missing out if you like this sort of thing. Episode #1 was terrific http://www.hulu.com/#!cult Its actually just called "Cult" not " the cult". Episode #2 is on tonight
  18. I can see that for some people. However with Dexter, The Cult, The Following etc etc there is for sure a market for Bedlam content
  19. The Cult looks like it will be much better than The Following [which I like]
  20. If anyone says its because of too many variants, that is total nonsense. NWM is super hot and has nearly as many [with more reprints] Not really sure what the deal is with the selling price but its worth its weight in gold in terms of content to me
  21. Pick up a 3rd print #1 Its worth the $2-3 risk for a very good read (thumbs u
