Sorry but I think it’s this one, and not what was previously posted.
And I was just making a point about the quality that was taken, key issues and not random books !!
-
I shouldn’t but I will comment real quick.
I have no idea how the place looked where they stole the art from and I have no idea about whether stuff was marked clearly or not, but I guess we all agree that it is a bit odd that they seem to have picked the cherry pieces, meaning the most valuable stuff.
So for someone to raise the point that they possibly had insider knowledge or were specifically going after stuff they had a buyer for, I can see that point, it makes sense that it appears like this. Whether that is the case and true, I have no idea.
Why didn’t they pick the complete issue 4 of „Date with Millie“ ?

Any news on the existance and known whereabouts of the ASM 1 Cover ?

So I am a fan of the Mayhew Vampi covers - but admit that I hadn't read them. My question is 'does vampi do karate/kung fu inside the comic? The way its shown on this cover.
Good question, I know I have the book somewhere. I will try to find out.

Good Morning,
I recently updated my CAF with the following 2 pieces :
Vampirella Cover 2 - Mike Mayhew
http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1491742
Spirit Illustration - Will Eisner
http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1492219
If anyone knows where this Spirit Illustration and my other Will Eisner Spirit San Diego Comic Con piece was used would be awesome.
Hope you like it.

Pecker Head !?
Never heard of this story.
You mind sharing ?
-
all true and alerting.
i am (was) considering a cover redo and not a “simple” commission and since it is his cover I can’t or will just not ask anyone else.
That would be weird.
Maybe I will find the original one day and go after that one ...

That’s the person I have sent 3 emails to with ZERO response

So who is his rep ?
-
Why don’t you show the complete page and not only a fuzzy signature ?
It will help the chances dramatically to identify the artist !

So does anyone have any recent Michael Golden experience or success ?

As with any commission, the GOLDEN rule states "Patience is a Virue"
Haha...that was quite a story back then.
Anyone knows what happened to that particular piece ? Wasn’t it for sale at one point ?

Anyone any recent Michael Golden experience ?
Was given an email address by Golden through social media to arrange things.
In the meantime I have sent 3 emails with zero response.

For paintings I use archival boxes.

Of the art that we know to exist, I’m surprised folks haven’t mentioned the Ditko ASM 11 and 28 covers yet?
Are there only these 2 we know that they still exist ?

Very cool !
Awesome that they share !!!

Showing it at a convention or handing it to an artist ain’t necessarily a private transaction. Just saying...

Totally agree !

just a quick reminder - i am still looking for more Spider-Ham art.
Regardless which title it is from.
Peter Porker, Marvel Tales or Tails or any other series that has ham :-)
-
And who is that someone that pulled these out ?
Hope we don’t make a huge secret out of this since this took place in a public place.

Maybe he simply doesn’t want to sell the art.
