  4. I just purchased a large collection of mostly Timely /Atlas, Archie Teen Humor comics. I will try to get as many ready for the show as possible but it is quite a large group . It includes titles such as Ginger, Georgie, Mitzi, Annie Oakley, Venus, Farmers Daughters, Sailor Sweeney, Suzie, Kathy, My Girl Irma , Nellie the Nurse and many more! See you at the show - Terry O.
  5. FYI: since the first show Me ( Terry ) and a core group of dealers have been going to the Hibachi Steakhouse in Anaheim, we are often joined by one of the show guests. They can only seat 10 people max and reservations are required. The El Torito next to the hotel is a good place to go after the diner for those still wanting to drink. Keep in mind for those traveling from outside the Pacific time zone, unless you are coming from Hawaii you will be real tired at 10pm (1pm east coast time). Everything closes early because it is a residential area. to find night life go to Old town Orange, or Brea Downtown, or Fullerton or Anaheim near Disney. There are always the Beach cities not all that far.

  9. The show is small on purpose to make non-comic collectors less interested in going there. To do this I must be willing to take a loss on the production of the show. I make all my profit at the booth. this is how I describe it to new people that are not familiar with the show: It is a small show that is a throw back to the days when a ComicCon was about Comic books and Comic art. The attendance is usually about 300-400 and the people that attend are actual comic book collectors for the most part. The attendance is small because I make money at my table ( I sell vintage comic books) not at the door. because I focus on vintage comic dealers and art work, this excludes very large crowds. That said the fans that do show up bring a lot of money to spend. Manny are people that can no longer get tickets to San Diego ComicCon and other large shows, and or just hate the large crowds at most other comic book shows. Every guest Artist/writerI have had to date had said they had a great time and would come back any time I asked them to.
  10. CGC has updated the site to the correct date! Terry O.
  11. you are correct the show is 29 January 2017. Thank you, I really need to have everything I do proof read. This show is basically a one man show and a labor of love for me. Terry O.

  15. indeed you will, as long as someone brings Donuts! will a free snack work?
  16. I recommend you fly on Jet Blue to Long Beach, the best domestic airline I have flown and I travel a lot. Long Beach (LGB ) airport is closer than LAX and about the same as Orange County. they fly non stop from SFO OAK and SMF for less than $200. I will waive $10 door fee for anyone that can show me they flew in from Northern California just to attend this show. Terry O. Promoter - CalComicCon
