Went to a show in Phenix City, Alabama today, about 2 hours away. Picked up everything for 45 dollars. I am excited about the Creatures of the Id #1, tough book to find in the wild.

How's the top left corner on that book? Maybe it's just the way I'm seeing it, but it looks like it has a crease from edge-to-edge? Kinda like someone folded the top left corner over...hope I'm wrong and that's not the case.

Agreed, it looks like a corner crease.

We have four comic book stores in our area. Two of them are pretty small, one is more of a gaming store and the last one is more of a used book store. I have met a few people there but none of the stores are conducive for hanging out for long periods of time.

 

One of the things we would like to do is host a small comic book show. Something where the tables are cheap and admission is free or just a couple of dollars.

 

I was thinking we could do something like Pay it Forward with graphic novels between meetups.

This is exactly what my club is doing in July. Tables 25 dollars each, admission is only 3 dollars.

Just picked up #1,2 and 3 first prints for cover at my LCS/gaming store.

picked up two NM copies for 2 bucks each at a show i set up about a year ago.

Went to Days of The Dead Atlanta, found one comic dealer/toy guy. Went through his dollar books and this is what i got, also it really bugs me when i see dealers set up at shows and you can tell they treat their books like . Saw alot of great books that were ruined because they guy just did not care.
