Personal Information

  1. I like the covers to the Fear title very much. Fear #8 has a certain charm to it, that remind me of Golden Age horror. Great monster covers too in the early issues, Kirby reprints, which exposed his art to kids growing up in the early 1970s like me. That issue of Ghosts #1 in 9.4 must have carried a steep price. Nestor Redondo, Filipino artist, and artist extraordinaire, has a story in issue issue #8. His art always blows me away every time I see it. Not just his pencils, but his inking too. Simply superb. Has there been much mention of Redondo's art in this thread?
  2. That ghostly living leg cover on Dark Mysteries #13 is really cool. Is it still standard protocol for prison staff to walk around with whips in their hands? That is a funny detail in that drawing. Dark Mysteries have some of the best precode horror covers. I always enjoy seeing them.
