Personal Information

  1. If they like waffles... you're in. -I get the impression you're a paranormal investigator of sorts. Florida is definitely the place for a hobby such as that. St. Augustine, Huguenot Cemetery, Castillo De San Marcos & Ibor City are some of the oldest places in America. Some of the best stuff to see & hear from a local paranormal group. Check it out:
  2. I'm about 60 miles east of you and it's about 45 degrees right now. If that's freezing to you then you should definitely move. I don't think you'll be laughing when you get all that lake effect.
  3. -Strange..... definitely seems appropriate. New Mutants #98 is one of the books in that submission. Does this count as an omen???
  4. Here you go http://www.cgccomics.com/about/careers.asp CGC is hiring: Comic Specialists or Graders We are seeking professional specialists or graders with experience in vintage and modern comics, restoration and knowledge of pedigree. Our graders work as a team, combining their expertise with proven processes to accurately evaluate, authenticate and grade comics, magazines and lobby cards. Located in Sarasota, FL, we offer excellent benefits including medical and 401(k). Salary commensurate with experience. ________________________________________________________________________ I started collecting in the early 90's. In my opinion, the years that killed comics. For this alone I don't think I would make the grade.(pun intended) -It's a good thing we've got writers like Brian M. Bendis & perverts like EBAS to revitalize readers/collectors.
  5. I would hate to have my very first post sound like a complaint. However, it's been 2 months since my recent submission has been verified & still no grades? I've only waited longer for results on a submission once... & that was 30 book SS convention submission that somehow NONE of the books were signed.(big oops on the SS department) They made it right though. I'm not sure how much graders make, but I would be glad to move to Florida & take a job as a grader. Think that I might be able to expedite the grading process just a bit? p.s. No seriously...its effin freezing up here!
