  1. I agree to disagree. That "bad image", in other words, credibility, has been completely nuked over the previous 8 years.
  2. Have you not followed the "reported stories" on the FBI on a federal level over the last 6-7 years? Maybe local gets involved. no way federal does anything. This gets buried.
  3. "This is at best a few hundred books or at worst a few thousand" Books, as in comic book issues, not necessarily copies, correct?
  4. A solid lesson in macro-economics. Micro is on a completely different level, with so many variables.
  5. Appreciated. Odds of getting an inscription with my own window and request?
  6. $550 worth it? seems just a bit steep.
  7. Do yourself a favor and meet them at a convention to get sigs. Much better experience and much cheaper.
  8. The ink does "cure" as long as given a few minutes to dry and handled properly. Marvy paint pens pop on any background, plastic or paper.
  9. I included 4 Marvy deco paint pens, each pen factory sealed, with requests for color on each comic. The pens can be used until the ink is gone on other submissions (hoping if this happens per request, as long as the staff takes proper care and time for the sigs to properly dry). Paint pens pop so much more than the boring sharpies on everything in the history of sigs. This is not rocket science. What are my chances? One in one-million?
  10. They do, and I have no idea how fast this whole thing will be signed and processed in real time, but considering that this is the premier, professional grading service for comics, and the costs and expected TAT involved, I would anticipate the handlers should know how to care for and slab/pack every comic with care, ensuring ink is dry with each book. Serious question: is this too much to realistically expect?
  11. I'm new here, submitted a few comics for TM with requests for color, and included 4 unused decocolor paint pens (white, blue, red and silver). The decocolor are superior and really pop on any material. Red and Blue esp. contrast well with most comic covers compared to sharpie paint pens. Anyway, I included a request for white decocolor on my silver polybagged S-M #1. I know it's a long-shot but had to take a chance. What's another $26 spent on paint pens when the total cost for this exceeds $700?
