  1. Just added a new lovely to my personal comic art collection. It's a funny little number, which you really should read the description on to get a better appreciation of. It's good stuff, especially if you are a fan of the early art of Kirk Lindo. Enjoy, folks! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1225839
  2. I'm only interested, if he puts up some of his work on Quasar.
  3. My third new update, in as many days. Who said to "beware the ides of March?" Check out the newness, especially of you dig Mark Texeira's Punisher!
  4. Just added a couple nice splash pages within the last 24 hours to my collection. One by Jim Valentino and one by the rarely seen Vince Giarrano. Good stuff, too.
  5. A great new addition I'm very happy with. This stuff is hard to find.
  6. I finally achieved a small personal collecting goal! Very happy about this one!
  7. Hey, everyone! Been a while since I got myself something new. Just add a great new page from the X-Men to my personal collection. It's from the early 90's and features the talents of artist Whilce Portacio. So, you know it's gonna be good. Stop by my gallery and give it a gander. Just follow the link right here. Thanks. Oh, and I don't think I linked you to my wife's newest piece that she got last month. You can check that out here. Enjoy, all you OA lovers!
  8. Just got in a very nice MCP page, featuring Wolverine, John Buscema and Klaus Janson. Doesn't get a lot better than that, does it?
  9. Last December, when I got my Spider-Girl Splash.
  10. Just added the newest piece to my personal collection. It's a bit outside what you normally might expect, but it's good stuff. Still, while I don't want to toot my own horn, as good as the art is, I think my write-up on it is even better. It's probably one of the best and most substantive ones I've ever done. So, what are you waiting for? Go check the piece and write-up out! Enjoy, folks! Just follow the link provided below: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=3287
  11. Just added my last new piece, before Emerald City ComiCon. And a rather emotional one at that. Please do enjoy!
  12. Just added two nice pages. Here's the first: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=978985 And here's the second one: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=978986 Enjoy, folks!
  13. Here's my newsest commission piece, from artist Randy Kintz, which is also my first aquisition of the year. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Feel free to leave comments on it, if you so desire.
  14. Here's a little something special I picked for the wife, which se got to open yesterday. Needless to say, I'm in good until the end of the year, at least!
  15. Just put up the first piece to my new commission theme: Grave Matters. It basically features a character near the tombstone of another character, friend or foe, that was significant to said character, with the art provided by an artist significant to said character. My first one is, for me, an obvious choice, but one I still hope folks find enjoyable. The image is below, but I suggest clicking this link, as you'll get my personal insights on the piece, as well as some interesting additional images, too. Can't wait to see what future installments of the theme will bring. Enjoy, everyone!
  16. Did the same thing to me. Doubled the price quote of what I saw the eBay listing for. So after I called them on it, when that auction ends a few days later, they didn't relist it. The Brothers are scumbags, plain and simple.
  17. Thanks, Hal. I know Gene is a really visually impressive artist, so I wanted to get something that would represent that. This piece was better than I could have hoped for.
  18. Well, I'm back with a quick new update. Just got in a very nice splash page by the uber-talented Gene Ha! The scan (like most scans in general) doesn't do the piece justice. The level of detail in it has to be seen in person, to be believed. I pity inkers who try to follow the emense linework of Gene Ha. But don't just take my word for it, see for yourself.
  19. Recently added several new pages of OA, featuring work by Bryan Hitch, Paul Gulacy, Dave Cockrum, Greg Land and many others. come on over and check them all out!
  20. The wife just got in a piece she was excited about. A page from the Marvel series Alias. She loved that book. She got this page at a silent art auction, with the proceeds going to help the March of Dimes. So, good art to help a good cause. It's winners all around.
  21. This one isn't for me, but my wife. I got her a very special commission piece, done by the ever-talented Jason Metcalf, for her birthday yesterday. She's just put it up for public viewing and I think everyone should take a look at this. I, personally, think it is one of Jason's best effort ever! If you don't know who he is, I'm sure you'll want to after you see this. Oh, and if you are inclined, feel free to leave a comment on it. The wife really enjoys hearing what others think of her special treasures.
  22. Well, I just added several new pieces to my collection, including a Green Lantern sketch, a Spider-Girl sketch, something awesome from the ever-popular Jason Metcalf, and an interior page by Bret Blevins. Stop by and check them out. Comments on them, as always, are welcome.
  23. Well, just added a nice big update of new art from artist Terry Beatty on my CAF gallery. Included are some fun pages from Terry's work on the Action Comics Weekly run in the late 80's, a cool sketch piece and a totally awesome cover! Make sure to stop by and check things out.
