  1. I found a 10pg back-up story we did that Darryl put into some independant title when he was working for them. Once again, the washes don't show on these particular copies and no cracks about my bland lettering.
  2. TY Matthew. I am trying to dig up a 10 page back up Darryl and I did for some independant title; I can't remember the book. If I find it, I'll throw it up.
  3. ...Good question. I researched it just well enough to get some of the terminology. I never actually played.
  4. Even an excellent and concise story with a twist. Awesome. Agreed. I also really like the Ditko-esque demon in the last panel and I really appreciate that the artist didn't show his junk, although it was really close. Thanks. Funny thing about Darryl; he has always been pretty sqeaky-clean with his art, but after high school I went into the Navy and he was trying to find work as an artist. He did a few issues of a book called "Debbie does Dallas" by some independant publisher. Not typical Darryl Young stuff!
  5. And here is Patrick (PtTuller's) very nice inking job on a piece of O/A I had
  6. Page 4 The last panel here was almost all washes
  7. This is a story my friend Darryl Young and I did for our senior yearbook in high school. We were only given four pages, so we had to make it short and sweet. D&D was very popular back then (circa 1987) so I wrote a story using that subject matter. Let me preface the work by saying that the machine that was used to copy our work didn't show tones, only black and white, so all the washes (dilluted ink painted to show shades of gray), didn't show. Still, I was happy with the work. Darryl now works for McDonalds designing art and toys for kids meals. He also worked for General Mills doing commercials (lucky charms, etc.) Page 1
  8. Thanks. It's missing the centerfold, which really sucks. I think it would otherwise be a strong 6.5 maybe 7.0. Really nice, supple off white pages and no tears or cut-outs. I hope the new owner likes it as much as I did.
  9. Until I get the payment, I still own this one. Then it changes hands, so I thought I'd post it while I still have the chance....
