  1. Since I have some time off at the end of the week I am going to do one last FS Thread before the spring convention season starts up. Listed prices are in $USD. Offers welcome on all books, but posted in the thread trumps PMs I have not responded to. Shipping Policy Slab Shipping: Starts at $20 in a small box with tracking and $100 insurance via Canadapost in Canada and the continental USA. Additional insurance will cost more, and overseas shipping will need to be determined. Combined shipping is available for multi-book purchases. I can also use Fedex for larger $$$ value purchases. Return Policy Raw Books: Buyer must notify me within 7 days of receiving books for a partial or full refund (upon receipt of returned books). Slabbed Books: No return on graded books. Acceptable forms of Payment Paypal or e-Transfer
  2. This. HR was presented as a publishing initiative that was meant to give Disney IP to pull from for TV/movies. Exactly. This is why it was funny to see how poorly executed their promotional schedule was relative to FOC. Since Marvel makes money on the paid orders, not the back issue market, they really should have thought twice about having FOC before the investor event introducing Acolytes and the High Republic.
  3. Right now it seems like any 1st app from Marvel is spec worthy. This may be the start of the bubble bursting just like back in the early 90s. Ravage 2099 anyone? Malibu books? 😂
  4. Has Greggy cleaned out all of the good books at the show yet?
  5. Then I have not idea why I bulked it. Maybe my LCS owner looked after me on this one.
  6. Forgot about this order. When I placed it I figured it would be a $8-$10 book at shows. Thankfully I chased the RI book. 😂
  7. Looks like it is time to dig the New Avengers out of the $2 boxes I was putting together for shows this year now. I hate extra work, but I like the extra money.....
  8. SW High Republic #7 1st and 2nd print, and SW High Republic Adventures Annual #1, are spiking nicely. Glad to see the spec sites catching on finally......
  9. The only question is how large to go on the new #1. I don't know if it is worth chasing the same amount as for the last one now that most stores will be on it. The print run should be much higher, especially if this new #1 features Darth Krall/the sith. I imagine there will be a plethora of exclusives as well. The first volume HR #1 and HRAdvs #1 were perfectly timed as a spec play. The FOC fell on the Monday before the Disney shareholder meeting where they talked about it, and announced the Accolytes show. Once that dropped stores scrambled and Marvel had to fill re-orders with the second printing. I am curious to see what the prices on SW Insider #199 will hit once more D+/games/movie announcements come out. The production quality was shi te on that book - I ordered 10 and five were too mangled to consider for grading. They sold quickly for $80-$90 damaged on eBay. I expect 9.8s to be tough on it as the print run was likely low as well. That is the first published HR content in any medium, if I have my dates right. And, it has the best cover for any of the non-exclusive #1s.
  10. Kevin, great work to you and the Fan Expo team on the guests list so far. It looks great. And, thanks for landing the Trailer Park Boys.
