  1. I've updated the original post so it is at the top of the thread but placing it here, too. Came in at 6.5!
  2. Whew, got the acknowledgment today. Anxiety levels back to normal. LOL
  3. I turned in the book at Baltimore Comic Con going on two weeks ago now and it still isn't showing up as logged under "My Submissions" on the site. How long before I should start getting nervous? (Spoiler, I'm getting nervous.)
  4. I dropped it off at the convention today. They said the turnaround time on express isn't bad at all, between them shipping it down to Florida, getting it graded and shipped back, looking at about 4-6 weeks.
  5. Oh, some quick further information - very slight tear on the front cover, took scan to show. It's a very minor tear, it's not separated or anything, more like a crack? At the bottom of the comic there's like a ding/bend kinda thing going on, again to me seems rather minor. Scans of each. And I tried to take photos of the interior, but they look weird because it's got such a nice tight spine that I can't really open the pages all the way to really show the book fully open. Anyway, looking forward to what the forum thinks. I've been reading/collecting since about the time this book came out, and I still haven't the foggiest on how to grade a book.
  6. The grade is in! Thanks, everyone. Okay, newbie here, hope this all works. I've just joined and plan on submitting this comic and dropping it off at the booth at Baltimore Comic Con next weekend. I don't even know what tier I'm supposed to submit to, since it's based on value, I guess? But since I don't know how to grade it, I have no idea how to submit the value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm attempting to share the photos via a "view only" folder on my OneDrive, please let me know if this link works, thanks! (I say photos, there are some photos and some scans together.) https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aj1SczwXPA53jdpHkTYIMmcK_zco8w?e=doTna7 Just Bill!
  7. Hello, newb here. Just signed up and plan on submitting my first book at Baltimore Comic Con in a couple weeks. Thankfully I came to the site beforehand because I didn't even know you needed a membership before submitting anything, even at a show. I've been collecting since the seventies, mainly Marvel/DC/Superhero stuff, but really I have an interest in the art form of sequential storytelling in general.
