  1. Thanks guys. I got it yesterday - 8/20 (Sat), sorry typo. Nick spent quite a lot of time on it. I was walking in the artist alley area and he spent an hour or so on it (on and off I am sure, but still a lot of time for a con sketch). The sketch is super detailed in person.
  2. East of West sketch by Nick Dragotta at StocktonCon on 8/20/2016.
  3. Agree. Even the 3rd TPB is pretty hard to find. Quantum & Woody TPB #1-4 set
  4. There are also signed versions of Q&W #0 and #1. Quantum and Woody #0. Signed by MD Bright and Christopher Priest. Unnumbered. Wizard COA. Quantum and Woody #1. Signed by MD Bright and Christopher Priest per COA but only Christopher Priest signed. Numbered 154 of 500. Dynamic Forces COA. Quantum and Woody #1. Signed by Christopher Priest. Unnumbered. Dynamic Forces COA.
  5. Harbinger #1 project. Signed by Janet Jackson, Bob Layton, Jim Shooter. Includes a Harbinger print signed by Anthony Castrillo, Sean Chen, Mike Mcguire, a DVD of the Big Apple panel from spring 2006, and transcript of a separate Valiant panel from the same show.
  6. It's all relative. Definitely more common than the OA.
  7. Even hard to find the signed version with original retailer letter. Chaos Effect Red Alpha signed by Bernard Chan with Retailer Letter.
  8. Probably because when Valiant kicked off production with even its pre-hero line, it was at the tail-end of the Copper Age. In that case, here are some pre-Hero items: The Best of the Nintendo Comics System hardcovers (Valiant spine and Mallard Press spine variants) The Best of the Super Mario Bros hardcovers (Valiant spine and Mallard Press spine variants) The Best of the Super Mario Bros (Valiant spine variant). Signed by Jade Moede. Nintendo Comic System TPB 1 (regular and No Price variant) Nintendo Comic System TPB 2 (regular and variant cover) Game Boy Target Value Pack front Game Boy Target Value Pack back WWF Battlemania #1-5 set
  9. Why is this in the copper section? And why did I discover this thread just now? For those members who are also active VF.com members, you have seen this already. I recently got this on eBay from a vintage apparel seller and am trying to get more info about it. It seems to be the only one that has surfaced so far. I sent an email to KC Caps and have not received a response (not surprisingly). Acclaim Shadowman baseball cap with adjustable buckle and snap closure. Embroidered with Shadow Man on front and Acclaim on back. The tag says HeadShots by KC Caps. Made in Bangladesh. RN#89449 (H&C Headwear Inc. based in Carson, CA). It looks great and it is in like-new condition. Does anyone have any info on this? May be it's a prototype or promo item? :?
  10. Sketch of Xiaolian in the new HC by Nick Dragotta on 8/8/2015 at StocktonCon.
  11. Congrats on the find. Should press right out.
  12. i think you are right... That would confuse the true 1st appearance even more . . .
  13. Here's a set of Upper Deck Valiant Era Trading Cards in Wooden Box. Only 100 of these wooden boxes were made (plus a few proofs, I think). They were given out to various Valiant employees and creators. This is #52/100 originally owned by Valiant artist Joe St Pierre. Signed by Joe St Pierre at bottom of wooden box. This limited edition set was given away at release party at Chicago Comics Convention on 7/2/1993. Includes: Bloodshot Retailer Chrome (x6), Upper Deck Pyramid hologram card, Valaint Era Series 1 Unseen Art inserts U1 to U9, Valaint Era Series 1 base cards #1-120, Turok Retailer Chrome, Ninjak Retailer Chrome, Predator vs Magnus Robot Fighter #3 (x2)
  14. Beer label variants, yet another 90s gimmick
