  10. I'm listing these over the next two days. No probies or Hosers allowed here. All comics are raw except for one CGC book. The books come from a smoke and pet free home, and I'm the original owner. I read them once and put them away; each is bagged and boarded. I only ship in the U.S. and shipping is at cost through USPS. No returns. The first in the thread gets the book. PMs are welcome, thanks. May the Force be with you! First is a Jedi vs. Sith 1-6 lot. SOLD I had the number 3 issue CGC graded because I thought it was the first appearance of Darth Bane. Turns out it's the first COVER appearance of Darth Bane. Issue one features the first appearance of Darth Bane and Rain (who becomes Darth Zannah). Each book is a first print.
  11. "I don't miss...." LOL, at least, that's what I think my Biker Scout would say. By the talented Dave Dorman!
  12. Just got these in! Moff Gideon with the darksaber and Sabine Wren, both by the talented Dave Dorman.
  13. It's been a long time since I got a new sketch. Moff Gideon with the darksaber by the talented Dave Dorman! I love his pencil work.
  14. I was inspired by PKJ's four comic photo, so thought I'd share my own! It's been years since I pulled these out to photograph them. I think I'm the only boardie in this group that collects the yellow Signature Series DC war books. I have the largest collection of Kubert and Heath signed books from when I met them years ago. Hope everyone is doing well.
  15. Hi Mike, Happy New Year! Thank you for writing. I remember you messaged me a while back about your Korean War veteran friend. I wrote a book that featured several Native Korean War vet interviews. I know the Roberts family is Yurok, but I'll ask to be sure about Kenny. Did you know my graphic novel with the artist Rahsan Ekedal is about the Meuse-Argonne Offensive? It's historical fiction; based on the Army's 91st Infantry Division. Most of the men from California who served were in this Division, which was located at the center of the American thrust against German defenses in that battle. I researched this for years, and my novel is endorsed by the U.S. World War One Centennial Commission, which is a group of retired military and academics who were appointed by Presidents Bush and Obama to serve in that group. My novel is the only comic they endorsed in their five year history. If you look on the front cover of the photo I've posted you'll see their logo, which they allow endorsed publications to use. I'm very proud of this to be honest. I'll message you about how to get the comic! May 2021 bring good health to you and your family, Chag
  16. Hooray! I worked with the amazing artist Weshoyot Alvitre (@weshoyot) on a new comic I titled "My Sisters." We co-wrote it and I published it. My printer is called Tribal Print Source and they are an awesome company based in Southern California. My story is told from the perspectives of the baskets themselves. In my Native cultures we believe that baskets used in ceremony are living members of society, with a spirit and a voice. So I used that concept in the story. This comic also honors basket weavers and their relationships to ancestral homelands. Here's a link to free standards-based school curriculum that goes with this comic as well as my World War One graphic novel "Soldiers Unknown." https://bluelakerancheria-nsn.gov/pathmakers/chaglowry/ If anyone is interested in this comic feel free to message me here. Thanks for looking, and I wish everyone a safe and healthy 2021. Chag Lowry (Yurok/Maidu/Achumawi)
  17. Just two books here. All hosers and probies need not apply. I only ship in the U.S. for these and no returns. The first in the thread gets the book or books. (First appearance of Carnage) $235 Amazing Spiderman Annual #28 CGC 9.8 white pages. Carnage appearance! $80 Or take both for $285
  18. I see some newer posts in this thread which is cool! I love the cover to issue #100 and I did like the next 20 or so issues. I liked the first 100 issues of the original run. Any issue with a Zeck cover always caught my eye. One of my favorite artists was MD Bright, he drew the Snake Eyes trilogy and the epic issue #93, where Snake Eyes is first seen! I was able to get this panel from issue 93 recreated by Mr. Bright several years ago. Anyone remember your reactions to seeing this? He also drew a couple other sketches for me. Now you know....
  19. Because bounty hunting is a complicated profession, and he's coming back.... Welcome to my auction, but all Hosers and Probies stay away. I only ship in the U.S. Shipping is $15. Buy two or more and shipping is free though. All CGC sales are final so no returns, even if you can claw yourself out of the Sarlacc. The CGC cases are all perfect, any shadow or glare is due to my camera, sorry. The first in the thread gets the book. I only accept Paypal. No Mon Calamari funds, absolutely no Republic credits either. The Republic does not exist to me. I might accept Beskar steel, but it better not be marked with that disgusting Imperial sign. That's not my way. Feel free to send PMs, hologram messages are also acceptable. Thank you. Painted Fett by the ultra-talented Dave Dorman $600 Fett by the artist Jason Reed (I met him at a con in Sacramento, a great guy). $175 Fett by the artist Chris Scalf (who drew the series Boba Fett: Blood Ties, Boba Fett is Dead, and some Darth Maul books) This was his first ever sketch on a blank, so $200 Fett by the awesome Ron Lim $250 Fett by the amazing Mike Lilly (this one is called "The Prize") $250. You're buying the art not the grade for this beauty. Fett by the very cool, very talented Tom Hodges $225 Up Close Fett by the super-cool and awesome artist Tim Bradstreet $350 He is the greatest artist to chat with at a con. Almost full-figure Fett by Tim Bradstreet $350 Love how Bradstreet used his autograph as the belt in this one. First one to buy a sketch can claim this book. The cover is by Tim Bradstreet!
  20. Star Wars #63 was a pivotal book for me growing up. I had a copy at my grandmother's house, and when we'd visit I'd find where I stashed it (hidden from all my cousins) and read and re-read as Luke partnered with Chewie to infiltrate an Imperial base shaped like a huge alien bug! The issue has humor, drama, and it was great to see Luke partnered with Chewie for a change. And Chewie is the hero too! But the kicker was always the dynamic cover, by the great artist Tom Palmer. I think this cover ranks near the top in terms of Vader versus Luke images. And this was waaaaay back when it was just one SW book a month being produced. Now, we are spoiled with multiple amazing SW covers every month. So this cover always spurred my imagination. I was eventually able to get a copy signed by the great Tom Palmer and here it is! He was the inker on the original Star Wars #1 too, so I was able to get him to paint an original Darth Vader on a blank comic. It's one of my most cherished comics ever, and here it is as well.
