  1. Tales to Astonish #54 F/VF : $80 1st app. El Toro (who?) Book looks 8.5/9.0 structurally but has rust near staples and some stains on the back cover which hammer the grade
  2. I am a little concerned about the lack of overlap on the upper edge and fear the possibility of micro-trimming; however there is overlap at the bottom edge which is usually not the case on a SA book so maybe that explains. What do you guys think? Also, anyone knows how to accurately detect micro-trimming? That is so much harder than to detect pressing, not sure how CGC can do it with certainty
  3. Maybe not the best place to post this then, let's try it somewhere else
  4. Wow, how much would a CGC 8.0 sells for today?
  5. Sub-Mariner #30 VF/NM to NM- : $60 SOLD Capt. Marvel appearance
  6. Sub-Mariner #6 VF/VF+: $60 2nd app. Tiger Shark Looks NM- but has two small losses of colors on front cover (near Subby's belt and on Tiger Shark's triceps) probably due to a tape pull or something like that
  7. Still undecided which one to keep and which to re-sell as they have different color tones, first has better white while the second has better brown and green
  8. That is a totally beautiful book for its technical grade, congrats!!
  9. This one would probably upgrade to a 9.0 or 9.2 if pressed but that makes me smile because it will not happen as long as it stays in my collection
  10. Daredevil #30 NM-/NM: $400 Killer copy of a tough black cover and my personal copy for the last 20 years. Not in a hurry to sell this one.
  11. Daredevil #69 NM- : $70 Tough one to find in high grade due to the black cover Black Panther appearance
  12. It's more fun when you take your time, well that is what my wife says
  13. Thanks, got this one from Comiclink in 2007. May upgrade today to 9.2 but seems accurate to me at 9.0, however if you like undergraded books, wait until you see my #2 and #3
  14. And the centering is just perfect, totally awesome copy!!
