  1. Bongo2001 finally sent payment. However, meanwhile, I had to send other NPB reminders to two other buyers. One is still under discussion, the other one I had no other choice than close the case and get my fees refunded but I lost a sale. I added the buyer to my blocked list: mrpugdog eBay has been horrible recently with more non-paying bidders than ever
  2. I also sold two books to Bongo2001 on eBay and he still did not pay me. I had no other choice than to open a NPB alert

Got a bunch of nice BA Marvels from Ed and I am very happy with purchase (thumbs u
  4. Bought a nice Sgt Fury #13 old label from Dan. Very smooth transaction, will definitively do business with again !
  5. I have too many comics and decided to sell all my Copper/Modern titles to make some space. Books like Preacher, Swamp Thing, X-Men, Daredevil, Spider-Man titles (Web of Spider-Man, Spider-Man, etc) and a few other titles from 1980-today will be for sale. I am the original owner of these and all are raw 9.6/9.8. It will take a few weeks to go through these but will probably sell as full runs. Meanwhile, PMs welcome if there is any title that may interest you.
  6. I should have read this thread until the end and blocked that bidder as well
  7. Kaspar has bought from me several times. Always pay quickly, very friendly and excellent communication. Highest recommendations for this buyer ! (thumbs u
  8. There's a high grade SA slab collector right on this board who's selling/sold just about all his comics because of this trend in the industry. Do you think he's the only one? Meaning more supply and less demand in the future. There still are some HG keys unpressed out there...
  9. Got some accurately graded books from Ken, great packaging and ultra-quick shipment (thumbs u
  10. I had three (raw) hg copies of #33 for sale in the last couple years. I found only one copy of #32 and #35 during all my Turok collecting history and they were part of a full hg complete run I bought several years ago on eBay. They are now sitting in my personal collection. A #35 in raw VF sold for ridiculous prohibitive price on eBay four years ago by a reputable seller (around $600). It is probably the toughest Gold Key Turok to find. There is no GPA sale of this issue. The #34 is also a tough one. The other ones (30,31,33,36-39) are more common (or less rare if you prefer) from my experience. Hope this info helps my fellow Turok collectors
  11. #32 and #35 are probably the two toughest Gold Key Turok's to find in high grade. The #33 is relatively common. If I hadn't already one nice copy, I would have bid to win on that #32
  12. Added to my blocked bidder list, thanks! It's hard to know now with new eBay rules which eBay bidders are troublemakers, sellers cannot leave negative, nor even false negatives anymore, and buyers can neg you even if you cancel a transaction. If you start a non-paying bidders claim, best that will happen is that the buyer will get a strike (but nobody will know). Worst that can happen is that he decides to pay in order to avoid the strike and give you trouble once you send the book. I had three non-paying eBay buyers in the past two weeks, more than I had in the last few years. One never answered my messages and finally got a strike (but it was a cheap book), two others wanted to cancel the transaction on two expensive items. All three have a feedback rating lower than 20 Anyone thinks that a list of eBay bad bidders should be provided here on these boards in other to warn each other ?
  13. Probably the best 8.5 I have ever seen from CGC. A perfect example of "Buy the book, not the label". Moreover, an Old label
  14. Here is my 2nd copy of FC #596. Still undecided if I should keep this one or the raw copy
  15. Ahhh Gerry Ross, so many souvenirs... I remember 20 years ago, when I was a kid and began collecting, I bought a few "Mint" Barry Smith's Conans through his mail order catalog. This was my first major comic book purchase and I used most of my summer student's job salary to pay for the items. The books were rather VG than Mint and when I did complain, he said: "sorry, it was a mistake, return the books and I will send you replacement copies in better condition, in true Mint this time" Well, believe it or not, but the "replacement" copies he finally sent me were the same damn copies I did return the first time, but this time they were restored and trimmed to hide the defects !!!!... I was just a teen-ager and I had to go to small claims court as last resort to get my money back but I won. Also, I remember he used to have John Byrne in his store to sign comics for the cost of $10 per signature....not the real John Byrne (artist) that we all know, of course...
  16. Great books, safely packed and accurately graded, thanks!
  17. A recent upgrade now cracked and sitting free in a Mylar. Rather 8.5 than 9.0 but still a nice copy and a keeper
  18. Excellent and smooth transaction, good communication, great packaging, highly recommend this seller !
  19. Best I could find of this issue. Anybody has a hg copy of this one ?
