Batman #5 CGC Fine- 5.5: $5,500
Classic cover and Joker story.
This book was NOT pressed and it would obviously benefit from pressing and cleaning if you are into that kind of thing (not me). Unpressed copies of such early GA books are today near extinction. Colors and gloss on this copy are unreal for a comic of that age. Graded in 2004, it looks gorgeous for its technical grade. Most recent sale was a CGC 6.5 that sold for $6,000 but feel free to compare that copy with this one, buy the book, not the label: Batman #5 CGC 6.5

Atom #1 French Edition F/VF (R?): $35
Almost impossible to find in any kind of shape, this one presents very well but there seems to be two very faint dots of black color touch-up on spine (do not bleed through). Not sure about that but there is a question mark and hammering the price for this reason.

Aquaman #4 de-slabbed CGC VF+ 8.5: $275
I still have the label and it will be included with the book. I am including a scan of the book when it was in its CGC holder. Book was not pressed. Very early CGC graded copy in a period when grading was tight.

Amazing Spider-Man #17 VF: $1,050
2nd app. Green Goblin
Small impact ding on lower right corner of bc that does not break colors. Small tear on upper edge of fc. Also, has an arrival date on fc. Presents better than its technical grade.
There is also some ink transfer from another book when it was printed. It's not stains nor dirt. You can see it on the title in the fc.
In all honesty, there is not much difference between this copy and the CGC 9.2 copy above. The spine on this raw copy is better than the CGC copy which has more stress lines but on this raw copy there is that arrival date that can bother some people (like me) although CGC doesn't seen to care about such defects these days... If you don't mind it though, then it's a gorgeous copy for the price.

2nd Green Goblin appearance
I don't know if the book was pressed or not.

Amazing Spider-Man #86 CGC 9.0: $475
Old label goodness graded in 2002. This book was not pressed and it's pretty obvious when you hold the book in hands, it would however greatly benefit from pressing if you are into that (not me).

Amazing Spider-man #130 VF+ (?): $48
1st app. Spidermobile
Book was sold to me as NM but was obviously pressed. Cover is a bit loose around staples probably because of pressing. Hard to grade and most of you would not mind the fact that it was pressed but I do so here it is. If you don't mind pressing then it's a gorgeous book.

Amazing Adventures #1-10 full run: $900
My personal run of this series. Most of them are file copies that have been purchased from zillaf4 18 years ago. Grades are as follow:
#1: 8.0/8.5 (looks 9.2 but bottom side is a bit wavy, like if there was some humidity, an easy press though if you are into that)
#2: 9.2
#3: 9.2
#4: 9.2
#5: 9.2 (Neal Adams art)
#6: 9.4 (Neal Adams art)
#7: 9.6 (Neal Adams art)
#8: 9.2 (Neal Adams art)
#9: 9.2
#10: 9.2

Pickycollector Summer sale thread: mostly high grade GA/SA/BA books
in Golden/Silver/Bronze Age Only
Posted
Captain America #167 former CGC NM 9.4: $45
Along with #144 and #161, this is a tough BA Cap to find in high grade. I cracked this book in order to put it in my collection but recently found a better copy. I kept the label though and it will be included with the comic.
In all honesty, I would rather grade this book as NM- 9.2. The book was graded in 2007, no grader notes unfortunately but it was not pressed.
