Last one for now. not in bad condition and yet to have a clean and press. It looks like all that dirt on the rear white border will come off easily enough. Great cover art in my opinion just unsure if it’s worth grading or not ?

Opinions gratefully received. cleaned and pressed to the best of my ability. some nasty colour breaking spine ticks, some cover rub and some marking on the yellow Iron Man lettering. thanks again.

Hi again chaps. Still trying to decide on which books for my first silver age submission. I would be interested in peoples opinion on this book. Would I get picked up on this for the horrible colour touch that somebody has attempted or do you think I could still get a blue label for it. Not sure what’s gone off with the front and back inner covers. The back one opens fine but the front one won’t . Not sure if it’s just glue from the binding or what ? I realise it’s going to be a low grade but I snagged it for a really good price and it’s a book I’ve always wanted for my PC. I’ve cleaned and pressed it as much as I dare.

It is for me. Might not be a key but it’s a classic cover by Kirby and once encapsulated it will protect and make a great display piece.

Hi again. Any chance of somebody seeing if my grading skills are any good ? I’m thinking maybe 9.2 -9.4 Hopefully I’ve undergraded .

Weirdly enough I’m sure I’ve got a similar chip on the top of my Secret Wars direct edition. 🤷‍♂️ I’ll try and dig it out later and take a pic. Now added the pic. The chip at the top is more noticeable on a white background.

Another one I am considering submitting so any help gratefully received. It still needs a press and a basic clean but once slabbed up it should be a lovely presenting copy. 🤞

Query number 3 As you can see there is a pattern emerging here. For my first submissions I’m going all Silver Age. I was lucky not to pay a great deal for this batch so whatever grades they come back that’s fine by me. All for my PC and not to sell on.
