  1. Totally agree with this. He doesn't have many lines but they tend to be pretty good.
  2. This is one I hope to upgrade someday but for now I'm just happy to get a copy even on the lower grade side.
  3. Nice books. Love the HOF12. I wish I knew where everyone keeps finding all the awesome ECs.
  4. This one has been at the top of my want list for a long time. It's got a detached cover and rusty staples with staining but I'm just happy I found an affordable copy.
  5. My low grade GFC. I have posted this before but a long time ago so figured I'd put it up on this thread. Cert shows 12/12. Whenever I look at it I can't get over that it's almost 60 years old because the colors are so strong and cover so glossy. Glad that blunted corner and stress marks on spine are there since it made for a GFC I could afford in one of the horror series.
  6. Amazing timing. I just admiring that one on the Atlas site. Great cover for sure.
  7. I didn't even pay attention to who the artist was for the cover on the Journey 26 until today. Looked at that Atlas site jimbo posted a few replies up and now realize that I love all the Anderson covers for the title. Wasn't planning on trying to take on the run and figured the 26 was a one off. Now I'm thinking I have a few other Journey's to pick up.
  8. Someone posted a pic of this book on the boards about a year and a half ago and I loved it. Managed to pick one up a few months back after watching all the auction sites closely for it. Low grade but I'm happy I was able to find an affordable copy.
  9. The VOH is awesome. That's high on my list for ECs. Hope to find a nice one some day. I keep seeing ECs with that "L" on it. Always figured they came from the same collection and wondered about where they originated. Can't help but think "nice L copy" everytime I see one.
  10. Nice one. I try to stick with the EC Horror series but cool covers like that one are always tempting....
  11. Now that you mention it....I'm going to have to keep this one towards the front of the box as a reminder for when the need to conceal a body arises... Thanks all for the positive comments on the book.
  12. Paid a little more than I wanted but it's one of the issues I don't see available often in the 6.0 - 7.0 range I can afford and try to collect for ECs.
  13. Awesome books! The HOF17 and VOH39 are a couple of my favorite covers and the other two are right up there also. Hoping that one day I can add even one book of that caliber to my collection....
  14. Couple recent purchases I just received. The VOH looks so much better than I was expecting. The scan really brings out the flaws. The corner creases are barely noticeable in hand. That one I grabbed more or less because I didn't have that issue yet and the price looked good considering I was already paying shipping for the TFTC so I put a bid on it. Glad I did.
  15. Number 16 is a recent purchase from Comiclink. I picked up the 18 about a year or two back and never posted it so figured I'd put it up since I was posting the other. Not high grade books but I like them.
  16. Grats on that one. Love that HOF. I usually check Comiclink pretty frequently but somehow missed a few days around when that one when it was posted. Saw it after you already grabbed it. There were a few other ECs posted the same day that looked really nice. Unfortunately, all the ones I really liked/needed were gone by the time I realized they were there. Think you got the best of the bunch though. Beautiful book.
  17. Lower grade for a Gaines copy but I love it...
