  1. FYI, all but a couple of the WDs in the current auction came from one consignor. We agreed to accept all the books for consignment, even though many of the later and/or lower grade issues would not normally have been expensive enough to be eligible for consignment according to our web site. Normally, eligibility for consignment is based on what our database expects the price to be. For something hot like WD, I wanted to see how the full run would do in auction, which is why we accepted them all. I can make similar arrangements with anybody else that wants to consign WD books. PM me or call me at 512-240-2802 if you've got questions. We've already been contacted by a few people who've been watching the current auction and wanted to consign for next month, so there should be some WDs next month too.
  2. It's not sig series obviously, but it's autographed by Lee and Kirby on the splash page. Not sure how much of the price is attributable to that.
  3. In auction ending tonight, ASM #1 VG+ 4.5 signed by Lee and Kirby on splash page
  4. FYI, Hulk #1 FR/GD 1.5 in auction ending tonight.
  5. That's fine. Thought it was of somewhat general interest to people in this thread, but don't want to spam. Deleted it.
  6. The book was offered to me and at least one other dealer (who contacted me after I started this thread). I'm the dealer Roy's referring to. The guy had been in contact with us about the book.
  7. if GPA wants the correct figure, its $2025 I emailed George at GPA about it so he knows the details and can be sure the sale is recorded as he thinks is most appropriate.
  8. FYI, we have a Hulk #1 CGC 4.0 available in an auction ending Monday evening March 12.
  9. I think what you described is exactly what happened. Issues were added to our database with default data copied from other issues, somebody sold us a copy at our stated buy price, and then it went up for sale at some percentage of that. Thanks for posting. Buddy will review the pricing for the kite fun books and correct the ones that need to have the prices increased.
  10. That's what she said. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  11. FYI, three price variants in our auction ending this Sunday: Black Goliath 30 Cent Variant 2 CGC 9.2 John Carter Warlord Of Mars 35 Cent Price Variant 4 CGC 8.5 John Carter Warlord Of Mars 35 Cent Price Variant 5 CGC 8.5
  12. Anybody know anything about this Turtles TPB from 1988? Rare TMNT Collected Book Volume 1 Ninja Turtles 1988 SC - someone asking $1400 on eBay It's the softcover with B&W wraparound cover, first printing. I've got a consignor who has one, signed by Eastman & Laird w/ one other signature he hasn't identified. I'm trying to get an idea of the pricing. I've searched, and also paged through about half of this thread, and didn't see any mentions. Any idea what this sells for?

I'd like to set these up as a searchable field in our database.
