  1. Nick Fury 1 then? It's weird he really didn't create anything.
  2. This one is tough. I can't think of any keys he did.
  3. O.M.A.C. #1... Wait! Can I change my answer? Captain America Comics #1
  4. Stain, color loss, and heavy spine wear. 2.0. On a good day 2.5
  5. I just purchased a couple CBCS books and was thinking of crossing them over to CGC. I was just wondering if anyone has experience doing this in regard to grade? Did it go up, go down or stay the same? I also seem to remember CGC offering a discount on crossover grading. Is this still true? Thanks again in advance.
  6. Superman 51 9.0 $1080 Nov 2019 Superman 76 9.0 $4250 July 2017, 9.4 $8364 May 2011
  7. The way this works is someone lists an Artist and then some one else suggests the most expensive book by that artist. Nothing needs to be confirmed. Consensus will be our guide. Although feel free to quote GP. For example if I said Rob Liefeld someone else might suggest New Mutants 98 CGC 9.8 Even if an artist only did one story in a book it counts Any one can list an artist or suggest a book Let the chaos begin. George Perez GO!
  8. I used to have to work the SDCC. Trapped behind a booth, hundred's of thousands of people, traveling across the country, and jet lag. To be honest I don't miss it. The free dinners at nice restaurants were nice the first couple of years. That even got old.
  9. The back cover tells the story here. I initially said 3.5 until I saw the back cover. The OP did have a back cover scan.
  10. I'll go out on a limb and say 6.0. Other than spine wear what makes this a 5.0?
  11. I read this and think if these guys would just certify the books prior to sale it would save them a boat load of grief.
  12. The dreaded Newton rings!!!! Back when I worked at ComicLink I can't tell you how many calls we would received about these.
  13. Long time lurker but with all the free time at home I can't resist posting.
  14. I guess the nuance was lost in my post. I'll take the responsibility for a bad joke. That being said, I do understand the CGC grading scale. Don't let the number of posts fool you.
  15. I could see this book getting a 6.5 all day. Did you buy this from a seller on eBay who was listing some other Fiction House book? I was watching them and decided not to bid. They're cool but don't fit my collecting focus.
  16. Noice! These books are really tough in this type of condition. Every now and then we come across early DC silver in high grade. They almost don't feel real.
